Supreme Judicial Council Meeting Underway

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Judicial Council meeting at the Supreme Court building underway with Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry in chair.

The council proceeding over the charges of corruption and irregularities against Sindh High Court judge Justice Muhammad Afzal Soomro.

The meeting was attended by Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Mr. Justice Tariq Pervez, Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mr. Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif and SC Registrar and SJC Secretary Dr Faqir Hussain.
