HARIPUR: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has blamed Q-League for Hazara unrest and said they are doing politics of dead bodies.

He, with other leaders of his party reached in the restive region to take the people into confidence.

Talking to media, on Wednesday, he said that since day one PML-N was of the view that the 17th amendment should not be attached with any other issue.

He blamed PML-Q for taking political benefits out of the current volatile situation and added that nobody would be allowed to become ”chaudhry” of Hazara.

I was blamed for changing stance over a phone call but the time has proved that I was right for insisting on to take all stakeholders on board.

He maintained that he has close relations with the people of Hazara, adding that PML-N has not deceived anyone.

He rubbished the allegations that his party took a u-turn over the NWFP renaming issue. He called for the accountability of those who stoked the situation, and urged the Federal government to take immediate notice of the issue.

He said that allowing Pervez Musharraf to leave the country was betrayal with Pakistan.
PML-N leader was speaking to the media in London, where he said that secret hand was behind the Lahore bombings and it should be made public. He accused that the ongoing wave of terror is all due to Pervez Musharraf. He demanded that Musharraf should be brought back to the country and should be tried.
Nawaz Sharif added that the government should take judiciary into confidence on the issue of constitutional reform.
Nawaz pointed that failure to abolish the 17th amendment shows the incompetency of the government. He said that the wealth of the country should be brought back.

Both the Sharif brothers received the Premier on his arrival at Raiwand in his special helicopter. According to sources, the PM took up the prevailing political situation, constitutional package, revoking of 17th amendment and Charter of Democracy with both the Sharif brothers during the meeting.
It merits to mention that the PM is meeting with the Sharif brothers after a lapse of almost 11 months as he met them last on March 22, 2009 after the restoration of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

He said that plunderers of national wealth should be held accountable and abolition of the NRO was better for the government.
PML-N party workers’ meeting, he said that cooperation with PPP would only be enhanced on the basis of certain principles. He said that promises of 17th amendment and Charter of Democracy were not fulfilled by the PPP. He said that meeting with Asif Ali Zardari should be result-oriented.
He said that unconstitutional steps could be dangerous for democracy. He said that there was a chance to repeal 17th Amendment during the debate in the Parliament. He said that NRO beneficiaries should be produced before the courts after resigning from their posts. He urged that decision of the Supreme Court should be honored and the government should implement it as soon as possible without waiting the detailed decision.
Earlier, high level meeting of PML-N workers was held at Punjab House. Nawaz Sharif chaired the meeting while Shahbaz Sharif, Chaudhry Nisar Ali, Raja Zafrul Haq and Ahsan Iqbal were also present in the meeting.
