PacMan marks 30th birthday

Its been 30 years since the introduction of the arcade classic PacMan, a game that became an icon of the 1980s and succeeded in bringing videogames to new segments of players.
The PacMan game, created by a Japanese company called Namco, was originally titled Puck Man when it was released in Japan in May of 1980. The character does look more like a hockey puck.
It became such a phenomenon that PacMan is now the most recognizable videogame character and is known by 94% of American consumers, according to the Guinness World Records Gamers Edition.

Fusari began studying classical piano at age eight, and was performing in national competitions by age 10. “It was exciting to play in these piano competitions,” recalled Fusari. “The top three finalists would get to play a recital at Carnegie Hall, and I had the opportunity to play at Carnegie for three years in a row.” It was during his college years at William Paterson College in NJ, that Fusari began writing songs. He started recording demos, and he subsequently met hit songwriter Irwin Levine, who was known for writing “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree” and several other hits for Tony Orlando & Dawn. Fusari played some of his demos for Levine, who was impressed with the songs, and he began his collaboration with Fusari. “Irwin invited me over to his studio to write with him,” explained Fusari.

Cusack Relives ’80s In ‘Hot Tub Time Machine’

The premiere of a new hilarious movie ‘Hot Tub Time Machine’ is held at Hollywood.

John Cusack and Chevy Chase relive their 1980s glory days and jump back to the wet and wild times of big hair and snap bracelets in the upcoming comedy Hot Tub Time Machine.

‘It’s the godfather of recreational, water-based, time travel movies’, Cusack said at the premiere of the film held in Hollywood, in an interview provided by the film studio. ‘It’s the most important hot tub time travel movie you’ll ever see’.

Cusack plays one of several guys, who are either losers at love or just bored with their lives, who pass out after getting drunk in a hot tub and wake up in 1986.
Hey, now they can change their futures!
The 1980s marked a great career era for Cusack, whose breakout films included Sixteen Candles (1984), Better Off Dead (1985) and Say Anything (1989).

Hot Tub Time Machine also stars Crispin Glover, whose on-screen son Michael J. Fox got into some time travel trouble himself in the 1980s Back to the Future trilogy. The movie would hit cinemas on March 26.
