Salman Taseer Voices Concern Over Sanaullah’s Link With SSP
Governor Punjab Salman Taseer has expressed concern over the alleged links of provincial minister Rana Sanaullah with a banned outfit Sipah-i-Sahaba (SSP).
He called upon PML-N to clear the issue whether it is a SSP’s ally. Taseer, while talking to media at a convocation at Lahore College for Women, said that he wrote a letter to the CM Punjab to look into the matter and take action against the provincial law minister. He expressed dismay over having links with the terrorists only to get votes.
He noted that two terrorists got freed owing to lack of testimony on part of Punjab government. Replying to a question, he said Nawaz Sharif has fielded poles and not human beings in the elections.
Meanwhile, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Governor Salman Taseer has been imposed on the province. Sanaullah was inquiring after the patients at Jinnah Hospital.
Rehman Malik Could Not Demoralize Us, Says Taliban Leader
Dismissing the news about the death of Taliban leaders, Bajaur Taliban leader Maulvi Faqeer has said that Interior Minister Rehman Malik could not demoralize the Taliban.
Faqeer said Taliban leaders Commander Father Muhammad and Qari Ziaur Rehman are alive and well. Some three days ago, the gunship helicopters destroyed a secret bunker during operation in Mohmand Agency.
FC declared that Faqeer Muhammad and Ziaur Rehman as dead; Rehman Malik confirmed the news later.
NA-123 By-Polls: EC Notifies All Polling Stations Sensitive
The Election Commission has declared all polling stations for by-polls at NA-123 sensitive in wake of the suicide bomber that struck Lahore today.
Election Commissioner Punjab Akhtar Hussain said that of 268 polling stations, 12 have been declared as ultra sensitive.
US Drone Strike in NWaziristan, 3 killed
MIRANSHAH: At least three people were killed and many wounded in a U.S. drone attack here at North Waziristan tribal agency.

U.S. drones fired at least three missiles upon a compound in a remote area of North Waziristan here Monday evening, killing at least three people, the channel said.
It was not immediately known whether the deceased were militants or civilians.
