Yousuf, Malik recorded their statements in front of inquiry panel
Pakistan’s interim captain Mohammad Yousuf, and Shoaib Malik, head coach Intikhab Alam and bowling coach Aaqib Javed appeared before Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) inquiry committee to record their statements.

The Committee set up to evaluate National Teams performance on the Australian Tour held its second meeting today[Saturday] at the National Cricket Academy with former legend bowler Wasim Akram again missing due to person reason.
“The Meeting started at 10.30 am. Mr. Wasim Bari, Mr. Wazir Ali Khoja, Mr. Yawar Saeed, Mr. Zakir Khan, and Mr. Tafazzul Rizvi, attended the meeting. Wasim Akram could not attend the meeting due to personal reasons,” PCB said in a statement.
“Mohammad Yousuf, Intikhab Alam, Salman Butt, Shoaib Malik and Aaqib Javed appeared before the Committee today and recorded their statements and replied to the committee’s queries. The next meeting of the committee will be held after the return of Pakistan Team from Dubai,” statement added.
Pakistan recently had a disastrous tour of Australia losing both the Test (3-0) and ODI (5-0) series and one-off Twenty20 as team was also reported in different acts of indiscipline conduct. Following the awful tour PCB formed a six-member inquiry committee to investigate the reasons for the team’s debacle during their tour.

Yousaf Refuses to Drop Kamran Akmal, Despite wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed is available for the third test match as a replacement of Kamran Akmal, Skipper Muhammad Yousaf is standing by embattled keeper Kamran Akmal, refusing to cast him out after his four dropped catches and bungled run out in Sydney. Apart from skipper, national team coaches Intikhab Alam, Aaqib Javed and Waqar Younis is hopeful that Kamran Akmal would have a good come back in third and final test match. Kamran has already said that he is expecting to play in Thursday’s third Test in Hobart.

Waqar Younis named bowling, fielding coach
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former captain Waqar Younis as a bowling and fielding coach for their tour of Australia.
Waqar Younis will replace Aaqib Javed as bowling coach. Waqar has been appointed as bowling coach for the second time. He remained bowling coach when Inzamam-ul-Haq was the captain.
Pakistan play three Tests, five one-day internationals and a Twenty20 international on the tour of Australia, starting December 26 in Melbourne. During an illustrious career, Waqar took 373 wickets in 87 Tests and 416 in 262 one-day internationals. He also led Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup before retiring the next year.
