PIA increases Haj fares by 6 percent

KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced 6 percent increase in Haj fares. The cost of ticket from Karachi to Jeddah will be Rs. 72000 now.

The PIA made this decision due to the increase in fuel cost and decrease in Pakistani currency’s worth.

The summary to increase Umrah fares by Rs. 3000 has also been sent to the government, which is likely to be approved, according to the sources. TrendPK

Cynthia Shackelford, Wife sues mistress and wins in the case of Cynthia Shackelford and Anne Lundquist.  Meanwhile, will the Jesse James scandal involving his affair with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee while married to Sandra Bullock cause another wife sues mistress scene?

In the wife sues mistress case, Radio Now 100.9 reports Cynthia Shackelford went after university dean of students Anne Lundquist for going after her lawyer husband Allan.

Cynthia Shackelford said, “She set her sights on him. … She knew he was married.  You don’t go after married men and break up families.”

A jury awarded Cynthia Shackelford $4 million in punitive damages and $5 million in compensatory damages for a total of a cool 9 million bucks.  The wife sues mistress case was based on the alienation of affection laws.

Cynthia Shackelford works in retail now to pay the bills since her husband financially abandoned her after the divorce.  Anne Lundquist claims she does not have a lot of money and does not know where millions will come from.

Either way, Cynthia Shackelford feels the wife sues mistress case was worth it because it sent a message.  Will Sandra feel this way about the Jesse James scandal and will there be another wife sues mistress case?  Only time will tell…

I think it’s a major victory whether Cynthia Shackelford gets $9 million or not.  It shows the mistress you can’t get away with doing the wrong thing…but what about the husband?

Frontier Airlines Discounts

Frontier Airlines updates :- Leading discount airlines have launched a new round of airfare sales for summer, but travelers may have to act fast and be flexible on dates to grab the best deals.

Sales from JetBlue Airways, Frontier Airlines and AirTran Airways end this week.

Frontier is touting fares as low as $98 roundtrip between Denver and West Coast cities including Long Beach, Calif., Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz., and $78 to Albuquerque, N.M. Those prices cover trips through June 9 but don’t include taxes and fees, tickets must be bought at least 14 days before flying, and the cheapest seats are only available for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

JetBlue says through June 16 it has $58 round trips in California, including Long Beach-San Francisco and Long Beach-Oakland. On the East Coast, it’s offering $78 round trips between New York and Washington, and between Boston and New York or Baltimore. Long-distance flights include $238 roundtrip between Los Angeles and Boston and between Long Beach and Washington.

However, dates are limited, there’s a 14-day advance-purchase requirement, there are blackout dates that vary by city, and the cheapest seats are offered only for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
