3 Suspected Terrorists Arrested: Kashmor
Pakistan News: Excise police have arrested three suspected terrorists near Kashmor on Monday.
Sources told that a van, bearing number PA 1384 coming from Peshawar to Sindh, was stopped by the excise police and searched at Dera Morr check post near Punjab-Sindh border. Heavy arms and ammunition were recovered from the van. Rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs, hand grenades and bullet proof jackets were also recovered from the possession of suspected terrorists. The arrested terrorists include driver Zahid Noor, Ahmad Ali and Jaan Wali.

Will Defend Ourselves in Courts: President Zardari
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that the forces allied with the dictatorship in past now want to derail the democracy and destabilize the country by judiciary.
“The forces in Pakistan that have resisted change, modernity and democracy for 30 years still attempt to derail progress,” the President wrote in an article published Monday in a U.S. newspaper.
“Some of these forces who were allied with dictatorship in the past now hope that the judicial process can undo the will of a democratic electorate and destabilize the country. A litany of ancient charges of corruption—the modus operandi of past plots against every democratically elected government in Pakistan—now threatens to undermine the legitimacy of our government.”
Zardari also indirectly criticizes his opponents and the media, saying “those that will not stand with us against terrorism stand against us in the media.”
He said he and his fellows were not afraid of judicial inquiries and cases being underway in the courts and vowed to face those.
“…let the legal process move forward. Those of us who have fought for democracy against dictatorship for decades do not fear justice; we embrace it. My ministers, my party, leaders of other parties and thousands of civil servants across our nation will defend themselves in the courts if necessary,” he wrote.
“Those of us who have been victims of dictatorship in the past believe in the rule of law and have faith in the judicial process. We believe, in the words of my wife, that “time, justice and the forces of history are on our side,” he added.
