Here are some excerpts:
Q. You’re considered by many to be a comedy icon, and you’re most definitely a gay icon, but I’m curious, who are some people that you personally look up to, for whatever reason?
A. When I was growing up, there was Carol Channing, Carol Burnett, Mary Tyler Moore, Jonathan Winters, Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett. As I got a little older and started getting into music, there was Joni Mitchell, The Stones, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross—all the great Motown sound and R&B and rock ‘n roll. And then later, Bette Midler and Lily Tomlin were big influences on me, right around when I was first starting my performing at about 18 or 19 years old. Then there are always new people coming along, like Amy Poehler, Lisa Lampanelli. I like people in all these different directions that I think are really fun and talented.

All these new hybrid hibiscus are descendants of the small hibiscus flowers, we all know well, but the new “exotic” or “fancy” hibiscus hybrids are large, multi-colored, multi-shaped spray, and magnificent. We deliver our potted hibiscus plants throughout the United States and many other countries. Plants are ready to unpack and sit in a window on a patio, or in a garden.
