Benazir murder case: Arrest warrants issued for Saud, Shahzad

A special Anti-Terrorism Court of Rawalpindi has issued non-bailable arrest warrants of former CPO Saud Aziz and SP Ashfaq Shahzad on the request of FIA in Benazir murder case.
The court judge Rana Nisar Ahmed heard the Benazir murder case in Adiala Jail. The judge during the hearing ordered Saud Aziz and Ashfaq Shahzad to appear in the court in the upcoming hearing on December 11 and he also issued non-bailable arrest warrants against the two officials for their alleged negligence. FIAs special public prosecutor Muhammad Azhar and Ch. Zulfiqar presented their arguments in the court. Azhar said that Saud and Shahzad were companions of the culprits. He said Khurram Shahzad was deployed in Liaqat Bagh to supervise security of Benazir Bhutto but Saud sent him to Koral area of Islamabad deliberately.
The court while accepting the plea of accused Aitzaz Shah and allowed him to continue his education in jail. The hearing was adjourned till December 11.

SEHWAN: The Additional Sessions Judge of Sehwan has issued arrest warrants for Balochistan’s Governor Zulfiqar Magsi and a son of Nawab Akbar Bugti, Jamil Bugti.
According to details, there is a case registered in Sehwan, against the Governor of Balochistan and the son of Nawab Akbar Bugti for an illegal hunt of birds in the area.
After ignorance of repeated summons for appearing in court by both the accused, the additional sessions judge issued arrest warrants for them today.
Zulfiqar Magsi and Jamil Bugti had been accused in the case of Sehwan session court for violating restrictions and illegally hunted birds in the area. SAMAA

Dubai’s police chief says arrest warrants would be issued soon for 11 Europeans suspected of killing a top Hamas commander, and added that Israeli involvement cannot be ruled out.

Petition Filed for Review of SC Decision on NRO
LAHORE, Pakistan News: A petition seeking review of Supreme Court’s 17-member bench decision on NRO has been filed in Lahore Registry branch of the SC.
Filed by barrister Zafarullah, petition maintains that under the international laws President Zardari couldn’t be tried for Swiss Cases. It says that under article 248 of the constitution, president has immunity. The petitioner requested the court to review its decision.

Rawalpindi Court Issues Arrest Warrants of Babar Awan
RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi civil court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Babar Awan on Saturday.
The court ordered the police to arrest the minister to produce him before the court.
The learned court has third time issued warrants against Babar Awan and ordered police through CPO Rawalpindi to present him in handcuffs before the court on December 21st.
A large number of lawyers reached the court to get information about issuance of warrants against the law minister.
