ISLAMABAD: Security forces have arrested three suspects of a banned outfit from Sahala area of Islamabad, SAMAA learnt Tuesday.
According to sources, security forces have arrested a key terrorist and his two accomplices from Sahala, an area adjacent to Islamabad.
The search operation was launched on the report of terrorist presence in Sahala.
The detained terrorists were identified as Zaroli, Shamsheer Khan and Wisal.
Sources said that these terrorists are involved in several attacks in Swat.
Police have started investigations after shifting them to an unknown location. SAMAA

Situation remains tense in Ancholi
KARACHI: Situation in Ancholi area of Karachi remained tense Friday after armed clashes erupted between two rival groups late night.
A man identified as Ali Raza was killed while three others were injured during armed clashes in Ancholi area Thursday.
The clashes allegedly began when a religious group was rallying near Water Pump and chanted slogans against their rival group.
Police resorted to aerial firing to disperse the activists and arrested three criminals.
Situation was still tense in the area as funeral of the deceased man Ali Raza will be held today after Friday prayers.
Security arrangements have been tightened in the area to avoid any untoward incident. Rangers and police have been deployed to bring the situation under control.

Some unidentified gunmen killed two people while three others injured in Punjab Chaurangi, Karachi.
Police arrested three suspects.
Two car riders open indiscriminate firing killing a person and injuring four others in the limits of Clifton Police Station.
The injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital where an wounded succumbed to his injuries. Police said that both the deceased were security guards and termed personal vendetta the reason behind the incident.

Three suspects arrested in Mardan
MARDAN: Security forces have arrested three suspected persons during a raid in Takkar and Maday Baba areas in Mardan.
According to sources, forces carried out raids in Maday Baba and Takkar areas to capture Mufti Sajjad but he was not present. However, his close relatives were arrested. Those arrested included Sajid, Ammadul Haq and a boy who is yet to be identified. Mufti Sajjad is a member of a religious outfit and allegedly having close ties with Taliban.
3 Suspected Terrorists Arrested: Kashmor
Pakistan News: Excise police have arrested three suspected terrorists near Kashmor on Monday.
Sources told that a van, bearing number PA 1384 coming from Peshawar to Sindh, was stopped by the excise police and searched at Dera Morr check post near Punjab-Sindh border. Heavy arms and ammunition were recovered from the van. Rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs, hand grenades and bullet proof jackets were also recovered from the possession of suspected terrorists. The arrested terrorists include driver Zahid Noor, Ahmad Ali and Jaan Wali.

5 US nationals nabbed in Sargodha for investigate
Sargodga, Pakistan News :- Sargodga Police arrested three foreigners and two Pakistani Americans belonging to a banned terrorist organization.
FBI says it is investigating about the citizenship of the these accused. According to police, all these five accused were living in an official quarter of Highway Department adjacent to sensitive area. All the five accused are American citizens. The FBI has been searching for the men since their families reported them missing and expressed fears they may have gone to Pakistan, according to the two US officials. One of the men was a dental student at Howard University, according to the officials. State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said the U.S. embassy in Islamabad was also seeking information about the five. Pakistani Embassy in Washington said that these people reached Karachi from US on November 30 and then went to Punjab. Muslim leaders in Washington told that these persons lived in North Virginia with their families and went missing last month.

Policeman killed in Lyari Encounter: Karachi
KARACHI: Police and some criminal elements traded fire in Lyari Kalakot area here, which resulted in the death of two persons including one police constable, while the area still continued resounding with the sound of heavy firing.

The police encounter with the criminal elements in Lyari Kalakot area started at a time when the police raiding the central accused of Lyari gang war’s warehouse in Singulane area of Lyari recovering huge arms cache arrested three accused.
Police said that reinforcements from all over the city have been called for, following the eruption of firing in the area, while the Rangers have also reached the scene of incident.
The recovered arms included one LMG, two Repeaters and Kalashnikovs besides TT pistols.
