President, PM Gilani Condemn Karachi Blast
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani have strongly condemned the blast at main procession of Aushra in Karachi on Monday.
The President and the Prime Minister also ordered immediate inquiry and submission of report. They also ordered for provision of immediate best medical facilities to the injured. The two leaders also appealed to the masses to remain peaceful.

Pakistan News: Rehman Malik Terms Karachi Blast as Suicide Attack, Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said on Monday the country is at war and its enemies are using cheap tactics to destabilize the country. He said Director General Rangers has been directed to control the situation.
After the blast in Central Flagellation Procession on Yaum-e-Ashur in Karachi, Malik strongly condemned the incident and told that the suicide bomber blew himself up in the camp set up alongside the road. He urged the people to stay calm. He requested Shiite Ulema to defer processions of 11th and 12th Muharram to avoid unwanted incidents. Malik said people targeting the religious procession could not be Muslims. He said such incidents cannot weaken the nation’s resolve. “I had requested to keep the processions to minimum due to security threats and I still appeal the mourners to maintain calm.”
