Multan: Families protest against death in police custody

MULTAN: Dozens of people staged a sit-in outside the residence of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in Multan against the death of a man in police custody.

The accused, Muhammad Akram, who was arrested by police on betting charges, died on Sunday at Mumtazabad Police Station.

Family of the deceased alleged that severe police torture led to his death.

Akram’s corpse was handed over to his family on Monday after performing the autopsy.

However, his relatives and local persons took his coffin to the Prime Minister House and staged a sit-in. They called for registration of a murder case against the policemen responsible for Akram’s sudden death.

Later, protestors agreed to end the sit-in after authorities promised to accept their demands. SAMAA

Source of Posner, who saw the photo of the reports claimed that the image is not a “moving picture” and that “quality was too good.”

The picture viewer is described as “shocking.” Jackson is, his eyes wide open, shaved his head, lying back on a metal autopsy table. The picture was taken at an angle of 30 degrees to the left side of the body.

A British newspaper editor Posner said off-the-record that the photo is easily sell more than $ 1 million for worldwide rights.

Publication picture of someone’s death is disgusting and disrespectful. Who really needs to see autopsy photos of a dead Michael Jackson?
