We will protest in Karachi if drone attacks continue: Imran Khan

Addressing a gathering in the Keamari area in Karachi, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chief Imran Khan said that so far 34,000 innocent people have been killed in the drone attacks. He said that now if the drone attacks continued, they would protest in Karachi.

Imran Khan said that the time for a political change has come and he would not rest until his party comes in power and repulse all American agents working in Pakistan.

Imran Khan said that after the PTI comes in power, they would collect taxes from landlords. He also said that the increase in petroleum prices would affect the middle and the poor class the most.

Peshawar: Child killed, 26 injured in a grenade attack

A child has been killed whereas 26 people have been injured in a grenade attack on a Muharram procession at Yadgar Chowk, Peshawar, trendpk.com reported.

Sources said that blast occurred right after the procession ended. The injured were taken to the Lady Reading hospital including 8 women and 4 children.

Bashir Ahmed Bilour, senior minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa talking to media-men outside the Lady Reading Hospital confirmed that it was a grenade attack. He said all injured have got minor injuries in the blast.

5 killed in suicide attack in Bannu

BANNU: Five people have been killed and nine injured in a suicide attack on a police mobile near City Police Station in Bannu on Tuesday.

Swat: Security forces kill 3 terrorists in Shangla

Swat: At least three terrorists have been killed in a direct clash with security forces in Shangla, Swat.

According to security sources, during a search operation in Alooch area of Tehsil Pooran, security forces clashed with terrorists; three terrorists were killed during a direct armed combat.

Security forces have taken the dead bodies of the terrorists into custody and recovered arms and ammunition.

NATO says 3 troops killed in eastern Afghanistan

KABUL: Three troops serving with the NATO-led force in Afghanistan were killed in a clash with insurgents in the east of the country, the coalition said, one of the worst daily tolls in a month.

The International Security Assistance Force announced earlier that two troops had been killed in explosions in the south. The five casualties were the worst suffered by ISAF since Oct. 14, when eight of its troops were killed in five separate incidents. AGENCIES

Troops kill eight militants in Orakzai

ORAKZAI AGENCY: Eight Taliban militants were killed in a clash with security forces in Orakzai Agency on Saturday.

According to reports, militants stormed a security convoy which retaliated, killing eight attackers on the spot.

Three soldiers were injured in the ambush.

Security forces surrounded the area and launched a search operation against the suspected militants.

In the ongoing offensive, so far more than 800 militants have been killed by security forces since March 23, 2010.
