People dance on cultural rally in Badin

BADIN: Hundreds of people participated in the cultural rally held from Shahnawaz Chaok to Badin Press club late Saturday night.
December 4 and 5 are being celebrated through Sindh as the cultural days and rallies are being organized in various cities including Badin.

Kamal Haasan film festival in Delhi to mark his golden jubilee in cinema

Kamal Haasan is one superstar who is known for his talent not just in south or Bollywood but also globally. The man who has shown his skills in the world of cinema both, in front and behind the camera, and has managed to mesmerize the audiences with his work completes 50 years in Indian cinema this year.
In order to commemorate this grand occasion, a three-day festival of Kamal Haasan’s films is being organized in New Delhi from July 2, which is to be inaugurated by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni. In all, there will be seven movies of the actor that will form the retrospective, which will start with the Hindi film Hey Ram and will be followed by regional films like Anbe Sivam, Virumaandy, Thevar Magan, Dasavatharam, Nayagan and Sagar Sangamam.
Youm-e-Shuhada being observed today
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army observing Youm-e-Shuhada (Day of Martyrs) today in recognition to those soldiers who laid their lives for the cause of the motherland.
A number of functions to observe the day were being organized at General Headquarters and Corps Headquarters levels at the respective station on Friday, being the first Youm-e-Shuhada.
Over 2,000 kin and relatives of the martyrs have been invited to attend a function being held at the GHQ, where different speakers would pay tributes to the national heroes.
Similarly, a sizeable number of near and dear ones of the martyrs have been invited to attend the functions to be held at the Corps Headquarters.
Expo Pakistan 2010” Begins At Expo Center Karachi
A three day trade fair “Expo Pakistan 2010” begins at Expo Center Karachi. Over 900 investors from 55 countries would be participating in the event. The event is being organized by Trade Development Authority. More than 400 stalls featuring Textile, Engineering, Agro food, Surgical and Pharmaceutical goods, I.T, Home and Décor, Handicrafts and Jewelry have been setup in the trade fair.
International investors have shown great interest in different products. Several foreign Consulate Generals and senior Pakistani management paid visit to the trade fair.

Election campaign for NA-55 to end today
Islamabad, Pakistan News :- Final two hours of election campaign for NA-55 are in progress. A rally is being organized by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) while Awami Muslim League (AML) president Shaikh Rashid Ahmed would address from a gathering in Liaqat Baag.
PML-N leader would Nawaz Sharif would lead a rally that would start from Marier Chowk and end at Committee Chowk. Polling would be held on February 24 while a public holiday has been declared on the day. Despite the tall claims of all the candidates to clinch the National Assembly seat (NA-55) in the by-election, the final showdown is likely between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shakil Awan and Awami Muslim League (AML) president Shaikh Rashid Ahmed. The Jammat-e-Islami (JI)’s Dr Muhammad Kamal and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI)’s Ijaz Khan Jazi are also likely to be prominent during the contest.
