LAHORE, trendpk: Various people are injured in a powerful explosion at Bhati Gate near Kerbala Game Shah.
The injured are being shifted to hospital.
According to Rescue sources, at least 15 people were injured at Lohari Chowk.
Bajaur Agency: Suicide blast kills 44, injures 72
At least 44 people were killed and 72 injured in a blast in Khar, district headquarters of Bajaur Agency in FATA, trendpk.com reported on Saturday.
According to details, the blast occurred in front of a Civil colony at a check point and World Food Programme building was also near the blast place. A woman suicide bomber reached at the point and blew herself up, due to which 44 people were killed and several others sustained severe injuries. The attack took place when more than 300 people were gathered outside World Food Programme building to receive food rations. Security forces and police reached the spot and cordoned off the area and started search operation. Rescue teams were also reached the blast place and started relief activities. The injured are being shifted to hospital where emergency was declared and paramedics staff was called.
16 killed in suicide blast in Kohat
At least 16 people were killed while several others injured when a bomber ripped through a barber shop located at Tirah Bazaar in Kohat, News Trends reported on Wednesday.
The DPO Kohat Dilawar Bangash confirmed the death toll, while rise in casualties is feared.
The bomber is said to have hit a barber shop.
Law enforcement agencies rushed the spot and cordoned off the area while rescue efforts are being kicked off. The injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals.
Lahore: Speeding car kills 2 motorbike riders
In the area of Islampura, Lahore, a speeding car hit 2 motorbike riders on the road, killing all both of them.
According to police, Kashif Gujjar and Mushahid who were residents of Sheikhupura, used to work as embroiders on Bund Road. On Saturday night, both of them were going back on motorbike from factory when a speeding car hit them on Chohan road due to which both of them got seriously injured; where as the car driver managed to flee from the scene. The injured were being shifted to Services Hospital with the help of Rescue 1122 when Kashif succumbed to his injuries on the way, while Mushahid expired after reaching the hospital. After investigations, police returned the dead bodies to their relatives.

Karachi: 12 killed in twin blasts at Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine
At least 12 people have been killed and several others sustained injuries in twin suicide blasts near shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi in Karachi, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to Dunya News correspondent, both the blasts were occurred near walk-through gates of the tomb. According to Secretary Auqaf, 10-12 people have been killed in the blasts. Panic prevailed after the incident. Police and law enforcing agencies cordoned off the tomb and relief activities have been started.
Emergency has been imposed in Karachi hospitals and paramedical staff has been called. The injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals including Jinnah Hospital. Situation of some of the injured is stated to be critical.
President Zardari was in the Bilawal House when the blasts occurred in Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine. Security around Bilawal House was increased after the incident.
The Mausoleum and Dargah of Abdullah Shah Ghazi is located in Clifton, neighbourhood of Saddar Town in Karachi.
3 hurt in grenade attack in Hub

HUB: Three people including a teacher were injured in a grenade attack on a government school in Hub, Balochistan, SAMAA learnt Tuesday.
According to sources, unknown men threw a hand grenade as school children were going into their classes after attending assembly.
Three people including a teacher and two peons were wounded in the attack and shifted to Civil Hospital, Hub.
The critically injured peons are being shifted to Karachi. SAMAA
Karak: van-trailer collision kills 14
KARAK: At least 14 people were killed, including children and woman when a passenger van they were traveling in collided with a trailer on Indus Highway here, witnesses said.
The accident took place near Karak District, 123 km from Peshawar.
The van carrying newspaper was going to Bannu from Islamabad when it collided with a trailer coming from opposite direction near Karak.
The dead were being shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital Karak.
