Rihanna, a Mom in a Year?

Rihanna is now thinking about beginning a family together with her boyfriend, Matt Kemp, a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player. However, she insists of putting her career on hold as soon as she becomes a mother. She just recently released her new album “Loud” in the top five on Wednesday. Although she admits that she is not yet pregnant, she says she might be a first-time mom in a year.
The pop star claimed that she can be a mother whenever it is right. It can be a year from now, or ten years from now. She says she still has a lot of things to accomplish before she gets kids. She will just know whenever the time is right. She also insisted that she can make a great mother unless her first child is a girl, since her daughter can be really rebellious. “She would be like a bundle of karma”, Rihanna said.
Rihanna is also thinking about where she would like to raise her family. She wants to go home to Barbados, but for her this might be a far dream. She surely can’t live that far with her kids because of her demanding schedule.
She has sold over 15 million albums and 45 million singles around the world. She made nine number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 since her first appearance on the chart on June 11, 2005. This is by far the greatest hits done by any artist during that span of time. As of July 23, 2010, Rihanna has sold approximately 5,563,000 album units in the US. But then, can Rihanna make a fantastic hit as a mom?

Celebrity Apprentice Luke Bryan Makeovers
Luther “Luke” Bryan was born 17 July 1976, in Leesburg, Georgia is an American Country Music artist. He debuted in 2007 with the single “All My Friends Say,” a Top 5 single on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Halfway through the song she ripped off her Carmen Marc Valvo dress and revealed a 5.0 Charley bustier, Hudson denim leggings and Everybody boots.
Bret’s media training by Luke basically consisted of a lesson in how to hide your hangover. No surprise there! Luke were not so keen on the whole “make-over” arrangement. He nitpicked everything from the one used in his biography of Bret chain made him wear.Bret’s media training for Luke basically consisted of a lesson in how to hide your hangover. No surprise there! Luke Bryan and Emily West performed his songs. They are both so undeniably talented, they moved to tears and Cyndi Curtis breaking out in song. Fortunately, he decided to stick to cooking. Bryan grew up in Leesburg, Georgia. At the age of fourteen, his parents bought him his first guitar, and after learning to play it, he joined various local bands and began playing in local clubs.
Luke Bryan but always feel bad for the loser. Gloriana was great too. I have to confess something. I Love Toby Keith, but I can not stand Reba. Bryan thanked his parents and said “no human” might be more nervous than he was accepted price. Bryan took the honor Gloriana, who won the top new vocal group award, and Joey Rory, the duo wins.
American Idol: Adam Lambert And Kris Allen on Billboard

American Idol: In the case of Adam Lambert, it was hardly a plummet at all. his “Whataya want from Me” slid backwards one spot after peaking at #24 last week. this could merely be a one-week bump for Adam, as the majority of his public appearances over the course of the past seven days have been on the other side of the world. however, he is going to have to compete with newer songs that are getting a massive bump thanks to digital sales.
Kris Allen, meanwhile, nearly slipped out of the top 20 with “Live like We’re Dying.” after spending last week in the #18 spot, Kris is now resting at #20. considering that his single has been around longer than Adam’s (and he has also been the beneficiary of plenty of airplay), this could very well mean the end for the singer until he decides to release a follow-up single (which I’m betting will be “Before we come Undone”).
Both Adam Lambert and Kris Allen are in unfamiliar territory on the Billboard Hot 100 Thursday — their current singles each fell on the chart after several consecutive weeks of improvement. while neither “American Idol” alum saw a substantial drop, it could mean that their songs have peaked for the time being.
Do you think it’s time for Adam Lambert and Kris Allen to release new singles? let me know your thoughts with a comment and as always stay tuned for more “American Idol” news.

Thank God i m a Country Boy
“Thank God I’m a Country Boy” is a song written by John Martin Sommers and recorded by singer and songwriter John Denver.
The song was originally included on Denver’s 1974 album Back Home Again. A version recorded live at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles was included on his 1975 album An Evening With John Denver.
The live version was released as a single and went to No. 1 on both the Billboard magazine Hot Country Singles and Billboard Hot 100 charts. The song topped both charts for one week each, first the country chart (on May 31), and the Hot 100 chart a week later.
“Thank God I’m a Country Boy” was one of six songs released in 1975 that topped both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot Country Singles charts. Denver’s two-sided hit “I’m Sorry”/”Calypso” also received that distinction.

Melody Gardot
Melody Gardot latest news updates :- Rising jazz singer Melody Gardot is getting ready to play her first concert in Seoul.

Gardot, who received critical acclaim for her latest album, “My One and Only Thrill,” will be performing at Centennial Hall, Yonsei University, March 16.
“My One and Only Thrill,” her second album, debuted at number 2 on the Billboard charts, and topped the charts in Japan. The 24-year-old has received acclaim for her silky smooth vocals and songwriting skills, but it’s her story of overcoming physical hardships that is truly inspiring.
A fashion student at Community College of Philadelphia, Gardot’s life changed when she was involved in a serious accident in Philadelphia when she was 19 years old. She was riding a bicycle when she was hit by a car. As a result, she suffered severe neural, spinal and pelvic injuries that kept her in the hospital for a year. One of the effects of her injuries is hypersensitivity to both light and sound, requiring her to wear dark sunglasses all the time.
During her treatment, a doctor suggested music therapy to help with her memory loss. Gardot started to learn how to sing, play the guitar and write songs. The experience has prompted Gardot to become an advocate of music therapy, having visited hospitals and universities to talk about how music can reconnect neural pathways in the brain, improve speech and boost one’s spirits.
After recovering from the accident, Gardot started playing at various venues in Philadelphia. She soon recorded a demo, which attracted the attention of major record label Universal Music. Her debut album “Worrisome Heart” was released in 2006.
In 2008, she started working with producer Larry Klein on “My One and Only Thrill. Released last year, it has been praised for its sophisticated jazz and blues sound. She wrote all the songs on the album, except for the bossa nova version of “Over the Rainbow.”
“Being able to listen to Melody’s beautiful voice and enjoy her songs is a real blessing. Her endless love of music and her thoughtful demeanor towards her fans really proves her to be a true musician who sings and performs from her heart and soul,” organizer Private Curve said, in a statement.
