PESHAWAR: Four people martyred and seven others injured as blast occurred in a mosque in Suleman Khel area of Badaber near Peshawar.
Security forces cordoned off the area.
Rescue work started soon after the attack.
Sources told the explosion took place during Isha prayers.
Bodies and injured have been shifted to Peshawar’s hospitals.
It is the second blast today and both occurred in mosques. First suicide blast took place in Dara Adam Khel where 66 people including children martyred and more than 70 others wounded.

At least 15 people have been injured in what appears to have been a suicide bomb attack in the centre of Istanbul, Turkish media say.
Police have cordoned off the area around Taksim Square where the blast occurred on Sunday morning. The blast occurred near a point where anti-riot police are stationed.
The Kurdish separatist PKK party has carried out bomb attacks in Istanbul in the past, as have extreme left-wing and Islamist groups.

Lahore: Two killed in fireworks factory blast
Two people have been killed due to a roof collapse after a blast in a household fireworks factory in Lahore.
According to police, a blast occurred in the house of a man named Iqbal, when he along with his son, Tanvir and wife was busy making explosives used in fireworks, in the area of Harbanspura police station. The intensity of the blast made the roof of the house collapse. Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene but Iqbal and his son, Tanvir were found dead. Iqbal’s wife and four other children were rescued by the rescue teams with the help of local residents and taken to the hospital.
Two years ago, a similar blast occurred in another factory in this area, after which the local administration was also informed about the banned activities going on in the above mentioned house, but no action was taken.

Sialkot lynching accused on judicial remand

SIALKOT: Former SHO Rana Ilyas, the main accused of Sialkot’s lynching, including 21 others, have been presented before Gujranwala anti terrorism court, said sources Thursday.
The court has issued a seven-day judicial remand for all 21 accused involved in the brutal killing of two brothers.
On August 15, teenage brothers Hafiz Mugheez and Muneeb, were mercilessly beaten and then hanged by a mob in the presence of police officials and Rescue 1122 personnel in Buttar village on the outskirts of Sialkot. SAMAA

QUETTA: An explosion took place at the house of the Provincial Minister in Railway Housing Society on Thursday.
Three people have been killed and three others injured in the blast.
The blast occurred in the compound of Balochistan Finance Minister Asim Kurd Gilo’s house.
Bodies and injured have been taken to Quetta Civil Hospital.
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area. SAMAA
