Power Cut Grips Many Parts Of Blochistan
QUETTA, PAKISTAN: The prolonged power outage started at Sehri still continues in Balochistan as supply of electricity remained suspended in 16 districts.
KESCO sources told Geo News that 220 KV circuit of transmission line, coming from Sibbi, met technical fault, leading to cut of 300 megawatt supply to province.
Sources said power supply has been restored in Quetta, Zhob, Pesheen, Qila Saiullah, Loralai, Kohlu, Barkhan, Naseerabad,Jaffarabad, Sunny Shoran, Sibbi, Bhag and Makran division from Habibullah coastal power plant. Teams have been sent to Sibbi to remove technical fault. KESCO sources said province is facing shortfall of 450 megawatt.

Pakistan Steel Corruption, Investigation Starts
KARACHI: On the directives of federal government, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started probe for alleged corruption and discrepancies in Pakistan Steel.
According to sources, a three-member team of FIA headed by high official of FIA Sindh zone has started investigations for alleged corruption in Pakistan Steel Mills.
The team has seized some of the record of Steel Mills and it would likely questioned senior officials of the mills soon.

Gen Majeed Meets With CJCS Sudan
PAKISTAN, ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chief of Staff (CJCS) of Sudanese Peoples Armed Forces General Muhammad Abdul Qadir Nasruddin along with a defense delegation called on his Pakistani counterpart General Tariq Majeed, the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (CJCS).
The meeting was held here at the Joint Staff Headquarters, which discussed the issues of the mutual interests including the professionalism of two armies.
Sudan CJCS cum defense delegation was accorded warm welcome on their arrival at JS Headquarters with the Guard of Honour.
CJCS Sudan on the occasion said that his country desired of enhancement of defense cooperation with Pakistan, lauding the Pakistani army officers working together with UN Peace Mission.
General Tariq Majeed said Pakistan looks forward for stability and maintenance of peace in Sudan.

Road Mishap In Blochistan 30 Critical Injured
PAKISTAN, KARACHI: A bus bound to Karachi from Balochintan met an accident on National Highway here, which left more than 30 people injured on Tuesday morning, Geo news reported.
According to hospital sources, the bus skidded off the road due to over speed as the driver was trying to overtake a truck ahead of it.
Hospital sources said the injured people hail from Sindh who were workers and went there for menial jobs.
Six among thirty injured people are said to be critical in conditions, hospital sources said.
