Syrian Foreign Ministry said the envoys have been recalled for consultations.
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain earlier recalled their envoys to Damascus after the Arab League condemned the brutal crackdown on civilian protesters in Syria amid growing criticism for Syrian President Bashar Al Assad.
“We decided to summon our ambassador to Syria for consultation and we stress the importance of acting wisely,” Bahrain’s Sheikh Khaled Al Khalifa had said in a message on Twitter.

SIALKOT: Former SHO Rana Ilyas, the main accused of Sialkot’s lynching, including 21 others, have been presented before Gujranwala anti terrorism court, said sources Thursday.
The court has issued a seven-day judicial remand for all 21 accused involved in the brutal killing of two brothers.
On August 15, teenage brothers Hafiz Mugheez and Muneeb, were mercilessly beaten and then hanged by a mob in the presence of police officials and Rescue 1122 personnel in Buttar village on the outskirts of Sialkot. SAMAA

ISLAMABAD: Condemning today’s car bomb blast at a police station in Lakki Marwat, President Asif Ali Zardari termed the attack a cowardly act of terrorism.
In a statement issued from the President House on Monday, President Zardari said his government, police and nation are fully determined to root out the menace of militancy.
Describing the martyred policemen as national heroes, he said the government would leave no stone unturned for the complete elimination of terrorism.
He directed authorities to provide the best treatment available to injured policemen.

KARACHI: Unknown gunmen shot dead an activist of a religious party in Line Area of Karachi on Monday.
Following the incident, an angry mob took to the streets and started aerial firing.
According to information, enraged people are targeting passers-by, motor cyclists and other travelers. They also pelted stones at a passenger bus.

LAKKI MARWAT: At least 19 people, including nine policemen, were killed and several others injured following a powerful suicide car bomb attack at a police station in Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa early Monday morning, said hospital sources.
According to hospital sources, there were also 24 people injured in the blast. Some of them were said to be in serious condition.
According to reports, an explosive-laden vehicle rammed into the rear wall of a police station, which was reportedly housing an estimated 40 to 50 policemen at the time.
The attacker chose the rear wall of the police station as the target due to the fact that the front and side walls were heavily guarded, police sources said, adding that they have cordoned off the area launched a search operation.

SIALKOT: A Special Anti-Terrorism Court on Monday handed over 18 accused of Sialkot lynching case to police on three-day physical remand.
Prime accused ex-Station House Officer Rana Ilyas, Constable Mubarak and 16 other persons were produced before the court in Gujranwala under tight security.
On the request of police, the court sent all the accused, including suspended policemen, on three-day physical remand.
Besides, the court reprimanded a police constable for giving VIP protocol to accused Rana Ilyas.

SIALKOT: Rana Ilyas, the accused Station House Officer (SHO), who was suspended in the Sialkot lynching case, has managed to escape to a foreign country, SAMAA reported on Thursday.
According to sources, the suspended SHO who is a key accused in the brutal lynching of Hafiz Mughees and Munib, has escaped via illegal routes to Dubai or Iran.
The DPO of Sialkot, Bilal Kamyana, has said that the suspended SHO did not have a passport, and his name was on Exit Control List (ECL); it was not possible for him to legally leave Pakistan.
The additional SP, Nasir Qureshi, has said that the District Police Department of Sialkot has announced Rs. 0.2 million as bounty for those who will help arrest the suspended SHO. SAMAA

THATTA: Pakistan Rangers have taken control of Thatta District amid fears that flood could swallow the entire city, Col. Sajjad told newsmen on Saturday.
Briefing media persons about the current flood situation in Thatta, Col. Sajjad said 70 percent of Thatta’s population has already left the city, while efforts are ongoing to rescue the remaining people.
He added that efforts were underway to save Sujawal and Mirpur Buthoro from being flooded.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has taken notice of the brutal killing of a villager in Shujabad tehsil of Multan, said sources on Saturday.
The Prime Minister ordered Multan police chief Syed Dilawar Abbas to arrest the accused, Khadim and Hashim, nominated in the FIR.
CCPO Multan has reached Shujabad to examine the site of the incident and interrogate the culprits.
According to a police source, CCPO Multan will also meet victim’s relatives.

MULTAN: After the brutal killing of two young brothers in Sialkot, another youth was tortured to death in Dad village of Shujabad in Multan, said sources on Friday.
According to sources, a young boy, Allah Dita was tortured to death with wooden sticks in Shujabad because his cattle moved to the fields of a land owner named Khadim while he was grazing his cattle.
Landowner Khadim, with his accomplice Ashiq, brutally tortured Allah Dita.
Police has arrested both culprits.
The relatives of Allah Dita protested against the brutal killing and demanded the arrest of culprits who escaped.
Earlier, dozens of people tortured two young brothers to death in public in Sialkot in front of eight police officials and a mass gathering, while DPO Sialkot Waqar Chauhan was also present.
