Caterina Scorsone, SyFy network (used to be the Sci-Fi, but they changed it to sound more like “syphilis” for some reason) has launched its new series tonight Alice, modernization and the adulteration of children’s classic by Lewis Carroll. The cast includes veteran actors such as Academy Award winner Kathy Bates, but all the buzz around the interwebs is centered around the SyFy choice to play the character of Alice Hamilton.

Caterina Scorsone is relatively unknown 28-year-old actress, born in Toronto. She has participated in a series of television programs, especially in the Missing series, originally titled 1-800-Missing. The show revolves around Jess Mastriani Caterina character, which is able to locate missing people with visions. His skills are discovered by the F.B.I. forming a research unit for missing persons around him.

Alice Catherine Hamilton is a strong “oyster” in the wonders encountered in pursuit of a stolen ring given to her by her lover Jack Chase. However, the “wonders” that is not a world of childish fantasy, but a dark, urban, devolved society from tyranny, oppression and despair. I will not say more not to spoil anything for those who missed the first episode.
