Minor blast injures 12 in Ghotki

GHOTKI: A low-intensity bomb blast at a medical clinic in Ghotki on Monday has left a dozen people injured.

The bomb was placed beneath the chair of a doctor, which went off injuring 12 people. One doctor also sustained injuries.

The injured were shifted to a local hospital. SAMAA

Sharif was speaking to reporters on Monday after a party meeting. He said he was the Chair added that good intentions and received no agenda for the meeting with the President.

He said his party would not try to destabilize the government and urged the implementation of signed agreements.

“This is not the time to point score, but to unite to foil conspiracies against national solidarity,” said Nawaz. Answering a question from the PML-N leader said, “Our reservations about Kerry-Lugar Bill are correct and Senator Kerry has also confessed.”

In the forces counter attack 15 militants were reportedly killed.

The fleeing attackers took the dead bodies of some of their accomplices while the troops taken remaining corpses in their custody.

During his three-day official visit to Italy, President Zardari will meet President Napolitano and Prime Minister Berlusconi of Italy and discuss advancing Pakistan-Italy relations in various fields.

During the meetings with the Italian leaders, the President will discuss issues of regional and bilateral importance, matters of interest common to both the countries and war on terror.

Matters concerning preferential market access for Pakistani products to the European Union are expected to figure prominently in talks between President Asif Ali Zardari and Italian Prime Minister.

President’s engagements during his stay in Italy includes meeting with Pope Benedict. President Zardari is also scheduled to hold meeting with other leaders besides addressing the Pakistani Community based in Italy.
