Car Blast in Peshawar, 15 killed, At least 15 people killed and several others sustained injuries in a car blast occurred at Chowk Yadgaar of People Mandi in Peshawar on Wednesday.
Large plume of smoke rose over the city after the blast. Several shops, vehicles and a mosque were destroyed and fire engulfed nearby shops and godowns. Many people are reported to be trapped under the debris. Relief activities are continued at the blast site. The injured were shifted to Lady Reading hospital where emergency was declared after the incident.
Correspondent, three people have been killed and many others injured while the condition of some of the injured is stated to be critical. According to hospital sources, 3 dead bodies were shifted to the hospital while 7 of the injured succumbed to their injuries so far. No one has claimed the responsibility of the blast. According to intelligence reports, two women suicide attackers had entered in the city few days ago. After the information, security of the city was put on red alert. Federal Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain has confirmed that 15 people have been killed in the incident so far. He said that this is the reaction of the South Waziristan operation.

Peshawar, Pakistan:- More than 80 people killed and 150 others sustained injuries in a car blast occurred at Chowk Yadgaar of Peepal Mandi in Peshawar on Wednesday.
Large cloud of smoke rose over the city after the blast. Several shops, vehicles and a mosque were destroyed and fire engulfed nearby shops and godowns. The injured were shifted to Lady Reading hospital where emergency was declared after the incident. No one has claimed the responsibility of the blast. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, President Asif Ali Zardari and other politicians have condemned the incident.
There are contradictory reports about the death toll. According to www.apakistannews.com correspondent, at least 80 people have been killed so far and many others injured while the condition of some of the injured is stated to be critical. According to hospital sources, 80 dead bodies were brought to the hospital.
