NASEERABAD, News Trends: At least seven people were killed and five others injured during a clash between two armed factions on a land dispute in Naseerabad.

According to Levies sources, the warring groups belong to Lango tribe.

According to sources, the clash is currently underway since 4am this morning now with nobody from the high-ups made to the flashpoint.

The Levies sources further said both the groups are currently locked in the exchange of fire.

RAWALPINDI: A clash between two rival groups in Rawalpindi on Saturday killed one minor boy and left 15 others, including seven women, seriously wounded, police said.

Pathohar Town SP Sikandar Hayat said that the fighting took place between two groups over a property dispute.

He said that a minor boy identified as Nadeem was caught in the crossfire. He was shifted to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.

Similarly, 15 more people, including women, commuters and passers-by, were injured in the clash. They were shifted to different hospitals. Trend Pk

ORAKZAI AGENCY: Four pro-government fighters and three militants were killed in a series of clashes in Lower Orakzai Agency on Friday.

The clash between pro-government tribesmen and Taliban militants took place in Kasha area, Lower Orakzai Agency.

According to reports, fighting is underway and both sides are using heavy arms. SAMAA

Zawwar Sheikh sent on 4-month leave; judges call off strike

The man who caused the clash between the Bar and the Bench, Zawwar Ahmed Sheikh, Lahore District & Sessions Judge, has been sent on four-month leave, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
Judge Suhail Nasir would take charge in Zawwar’s absence.
In the meantime, lower courts judges called off their strike after meeting with the Chief Justice of Lahore Khawaja Sharif who ordered them to resume their services.
On Monday, the Lahore Bar Association held a general house meeting and took out processions in protest against alleged police torture of lawyers and non-acceptance of its demand for transfer of Zawwar Ahmad Sheikh.

Kurd blames Kh Sharif for Bar-Bench crisis

Former president Supreme Court Bar Association Ahmed Ali Kurd on Monday held Lahore High Court Chief Justice Khawaja Sharif responsible for the clash between the lawyers and lower court judges.
Addressing a meeting of Lahore High Court Bar Association, Kurd maintained that the issue of transfer of D&SJ Zawar Sheikh has been rearing its head for the last three months, adding that had it been heeded, it would not have snowballed into a serious Bar-Bench row.
Rapping Justice Khawaja Sharif, if he had scruples, he would have come to Aiwan-e-Adl on foot to save the blackcoats from police highhandedness.

Nawaz said that the prevailing situation is the outcome of ignoring court verdicts in the past.

Kurram: 13 killed, 19 injured in tribal clash

Around 13 people got killed while 19 others injured in a clash between two rival tribes in Upper Kurram Agency on Thursday.
Fight between two tribes namely Mengal and Turi is continued for the last 12 days in Shalozan Tangi and Khewas which pushed the death toll to 51 with 62 others injured. Some 7 houses have also been set on fire.
Heavy arms are being used by both the sides whereas a Jirga is said to be trying to stop the ongoing spar.
