Melvin Guillard and Efrain Escudero were among the recognizable fighters to compete on the UFC 114 undercard, which preceded the anticipated Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Rashad Evans pay-per-view.The bout is the last contest on the non-televised card before Spike TV airs 2 preliminary fights foremost into the night’s pay-per-view card.

In the other side, Guillard facing off with a tough grappler, having lately won decisions over Gleison Tibau and Ronys Torres. Guillard, who trained at Greg Jackson’s camp, will be looking to maintain his improvements in Las Vegas when he steps in the Octagon with the UFC beginner.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Michael Pena and Nick Swardson are in negotiations to join the cast of the crime thriller “30 Minutes or Less The project revolves around a junior high history teacher (Aziz Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man who are forced to rob a bank when one of them is strapped to a bomb vest.
Pena is slated to play a tattooed assassin, while Swardson (“Reno 911″) will play the best friend of one of the robbers, played by Danny McBride.
The film is scheduled to begin production in the summer with Ruben Fleischer directing. Universal is distributing the Media Rights Capital production.
Pena, McBride and Ansari starred in last year’s dark comedy “Observe & Report.” Swardson will headline his own sketch comedy show on Comedy Central this fall titled “Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time.”

Amy Schumer made it pretty far on Last Comic Standing a few years ago, and in a few weeks, she’ll have her first Comedy Central Presents on the TV. So she decided to hit up her fellow stand-up comedians at the Comedy Cellar in NYC for some testimonials. Should be great, right? Of course, it quickly becomes a sequel to Seinfeld’s Comedian, with Colin Quinn, Jim Norton, Darrell Hammond and Jessica Kirson talking smack about her. “Doesn’t every comedian have a special now?” Indeed. Schumer gets some outside help from Nick Thune (who already has a Comedy Central Presents and more to his credit), and if you’re on the sidewalk in front of the Cellar, of course, there will be a moment with Ardie Fuqua. Of course. Don’t worry, none of these are really spoiler alerts. Roll it!

erry Jo Duperrault was 11 when her family was murdered at sea aboard a chartered sailboat off the coast of Florida. She jumped overboard just in time to escape.
Surviving four days on a cork float in the middle of the ocean, Terry Jo’s rescue pictures graced LIFE Magazine soon after she was found.
This is the first time Terry Jo, now known as Tere Duperrault Fassbender, has been able to fully tell her story. In September 1988 Oprah Winfrey reunited her with the freighter captain who saved her but, even then, she was not healed enough to reveal what it took to survive for four days adrift and alone at sea.
Co-authored by psychologist and survival expert Richard Logan, readers delve into the details of how a little girl survived the murder of her family; the gradual collapse of the small cork float she used to keep afloat while guarded by a small pod of whales; and the aftermath and the reclamation of life.

Times Square suspect ‘inspired by radical cleric with links to Christmas Day plot and Fort Hood shootings’
The man suspected of attempting to bomb Times Square was inspired by a radical cleric with links to suspects in the failed Christmas Day plane bombing and the Fort Hood shootings, according to reports.
Faisal Shahzad, 30, has told investigators that he watched Internet videos by the American-born, Yemeni based cleric, Anwar al-Aulaqi ahead of allegedly driving a weapon of mass destruction into the centre of New York.
The cleric was the first American citizen to be placed on a list of most wanted by the CIA when the Obama administration authorised his killing in April.
Mr al-Aulaqi is believed to be a recruitment officer for al-Qaeda and has been tied with the 9/11 terrorists as well as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian accused of trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day, and Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people in November at Fort Hood, Texas.Of course, not everyone is taking this failed attack in such a light-hearted manner. Steve On Broadway reports on his blog that: “Even though I was in Times Square earlier Saturday, I for once was relieved last evening to be in the comfort and safety of my own home. But the cowardice shown in Times Square won’t deter me from returning again soon.” Of course, it now turns out that the bomb might well have been targeted at the Viacom building, home of Comedy Central – the network that produced the recent, controversial episode of South Park featuring the prophet Mohammed.

In an interview in 2007, Diamond revealed the inspiration for “Sweet Caroline” was President John F. Kennedy ’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy, who was eleven at the time. Diamond sang the song to her on her 50th birthday celebration in 2007.

So, have you googled “Demi Moore Bush” or “Demi Moore Bush picture” yet? The term(s) happens to be one of the most googled and has been for a couple days. Who cares if there’s a picture of Demi Moore with a Bush? So what’s the big deal?
At first glance, one would probably think that Demi Moore has had a picture taken with one of the Bush presidents or maybe even the twins or Jeb or the First Ladies. Terms on google are constantly juxtaposed in such a way, such as the term “David LettermanPalin joke”, which will lead one on a search of articles and blogs about the current controversy over Letterman’s inappropriate joke about Sarah Palin’s daughter or about “slutty flight attendant” look joke. In fact, after CNN’s Robin Meade skydived with former President George H. W. Bush on his 85th birthday Friday, her name was juxtaposed with Bush as well.
However, “Demi Moore Bush picture” is something completely different. And it all started, as did the David Letterman / Sarah Palin joke controversy — with a comedian telling jokes.
For those not familiar with Daniel Tosh or his new show, “Tosh.0,” it is a half-hour expository of things internet on Comedy Central hosted by the 33-year-old comedian of titular last name (and aforementioned first as well). On the second episode Thursday evening, Daniel Tosh presented a picture of a bent-over supposed Demi Moore in white panties that was purported to have been uploaded to the internet by none other than her husband, Ashton Kutcher. He quickly segued to another picture, which was blurred out for the show’s broadcast. According to Daniel Tosh, the picture of a reclining Demi Moore (or so he said, because, as mentioned, she was completely blurred out) was far more revealing. After a few lines about being frightened by what he saw, Tosh ended the show by telling the audience that, if they wanted to see the picture, they could go to the Comedy Central website and click on “Tosh.0? to see the picture.
