Talking to mediamen after having a meeting with PML-N coordination committees, he said the yellow cab scheme was announced in the budget.
According to plan, 20,000 cabs would be launched at once and distributed candidly on easy installments. It would not only eradicate unemployment but also promote the industrial sector.
He suggested that the federal government should launch such schemes on national level.
He said that the government had failed to control over price hike. If the expenses of government are curtailed, “we need no foreign aid”, he added.
CM Shahbaz Sharif himself drove the cad while Nawaz Sharif sit on the front seat and Zafar Iqbal Jhagra and Pir Sabir Shah in the rear.

QUETTA: The people of Quetta have protested sternly on Wednesday against the ongoing milk price hike.
The lawlessness of the milk sellers of the city has sky rocketed and they have increased the milk prices by Rs. 4 to 6, without any prior notice or permission from the concerned authorities.
The residents of Quetta have complained that the milk sellers have increased milk prices three times during last three months and the government has no control over the prices of the necessities. Trend Pk
Nine people died in road accident
As many as nine people died as a coach skidded off the road and fell in a gorge near Dir Bala on Thursday.
The passenger coach was bound for Chitral from Peshawar and carrying around 27 people including women and children. The driver lost control over the coach at Valenzai, Dir Bala and the vehicle fell in the abyss.
Resultantly, nine people died on the spot, while 13 others injured including two women and two kids.
The injured have been shifted to Peshawar hospital.

GAZA CITY: The head of the military court in Hamas-ruled Gaza says two informers for Israel have been executed.
The executions marked the first time in a decade — and the first time ever under Hamas rule — that the death penalty was carried out in Gaza.
It signaled an escalation in Hamas” ways of maintaining control over Gaza. The Islamic militants seized the territory in 2007.
The head of the military court, Ahmed Atallah, announced the executions in a statement on the Web site of Gaza”s Interior Ministry. He identified the two men as convicted collaborators Mohammed Ismail and Nasser Abu Freih.
Atallah did not say how they were executed. An employee at Gaza”s main hospital says their bullet-riddled bodies were dropped off there by armed men early Thursday.

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that political powers have won in NA-55 polls.
During a media talk in Karachi, the PM said that seat adjustment would be made during local bodies elections. The Premier hailed Army for successful operation in Malakand and Swat, and added that forces have a control over important areas of South Waziristan. “We believe in provincial autonomy”, the PM maintained. Replying to a question, Gilani assured that water distribution issue between Sindh and Punjab would be resolved soon, adding that steps were being taken in this regard.

8 Militants killed in Bajaur, The security forces have killed some eight
militants during the ongoing military offensive in Bajaur Agency.
According to sources, several militants got injured during an operation at Damma Dola, while the security forces have taken control over Khazasar Sewai and Shagoutaag. The locals have started migration from Cheenagaye, Ganga and adjoining areas to safer places. Curfew is still intact in Khar, Bajaur Agency.
