Chief Justice directs to guide corrupt people back home
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary has said that justice should be visible and that the corrupt people should be sent back home, trendpk.Com reported on Tuesday.
Talking to a delegation of the Hari Pur district bar association Chief Justice of Pakistan said that lower judiciary should keep an eye on corruption. He also urged the lawyers to guide and assist judges in combating corruption. Chief Justice of Pakistan also said that the cases should be heard and decide purely on merit and that technicalities should be ignored while deciding the cases as it would not make justice visible to the masses.
Shahbaz hails SC for bringing corrupt to light
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif hailed Supreme Court for unveiling the corrupt, saying that the recovery of loans by the apex court would be a big service on its part, Dunya News reported on Friday.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating Lahore-Kasur Road, Shahbaz said I will term any bureaucrat or public representative as my enemy who dare to hinder the uplift work in the province.
Later, the Punjab CM announced Rs0.5million for every labourer involved in the building of the abovesaid road.
Fight against corrupt political system would continue, says Altaf

He said that a model village would be made in every flood-hit area. He said that constitution of a national commission was only limited to statements.
Talking to flood victims in Charsadda, he said that all resources would be spent on flood affectees. He said that the nation would have been united if a national commission had been formed. He said that all the corrupt should be thrown out of the system.

CHARSADDA: Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif today visited a relief camp and distributed sweets, clothes, and Eid gifts among children.
Speaking to media persons, he said that failure of the government cannot be described as the failure of the democracy.
The two-time former premier urged the federal government to stand by the flood-affected people and start rehabilitation. “Our resources are not so limited that we cannot rehabilitate the flood victims,” he remarked.

Imran Khan Calls Rulers Corrupt; Demands Mid-term Elections
LAHORE: Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan Sunday termed the rulers corrupt and called for mid-term elections for resolution of the problems being faced by the country.
After condoling with the families of the victims of Moon Market tragedy here, Imran Khan said the Supreme Court has made a landmark decision on NRO.
“If the looted money is not recovered, the political parties and the people will take to the streets,” he warned.
The TI Chief said the SC verdict should not be construed as an act of retribution but actually it is an action against those who misused their authority.
