Rapper Drake wants to play President Obama in a biopic
TrendPK.com: It seems rapper Drake is keeping busy thinking about a career in film as he has hopes of playing President Barack Obama in a biopic someday.
Drake recently commented that he hopes someone will make a film about Obama so that he can play the very important lead role, states E! News. “I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama’s life soon because I could play him. That’s the goal,” Drake commented.
And it seems he is already practicing for the role: “Any time I see him on TV, I don’t change the channel. I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions.”

‘Housewives of Beverly Hills’ cast gangs up against Lisa Vanderpump?
TrendPK.com: The women of the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ just can’t quite get along, and it seems it was so bad before the reunion show that some of the women chose to gang up against Lisa Vanderpump.
Newcomer Brandi Glanville recently opened up about the rumor that the women decided beforehand how they were going to handle things, states RadarOnline.com. “It was like Survivor, they meet up to go after one or the other,” Glanville commented about the others choosing Vanderpump as a target.
However, Glanville chose to stay out of that drama as she felt there was already enough.

Rachel McAdams opens up about latest romance
TrendPK.com: Rachel McAdams has been dating Michael Sheen for some time now, and she seems more than happy to talk about the romance that is making her so happy these days.
McAdams spoke with ‘The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella’ about her relationship and how the two make it work as actors, states UsMagazine.com. “Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart — we rack up a lot of air miles — but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not,” McAdams commented.
And it seems she knows what she wants in order to make a relationship work: “You need to trust each other and be able to talk to each other and be best friends.”

Jennifer Lopez talks being unsure of marriage in future
TrendPK.com: Jennifer Lopez split with husband Marc Anthony last year, and while she is reportedly dating Casper Smart, she doesn’t yet know if another marriage is in her future.
Lopez recently opened up to the ‘Today’ show that things are still too new to decide what she wants down the road, states UsMagazine.com. “I don’t know. We’ll see. I mean, I don’t know. It’s not time to think about that yet. It’s still fresh,” Lopez said when asked if she will marry again.
But one thing is for sure for the singer and actress, she plans to maintain her relationship with Anthony: “We were friends for years, and we always loved each other. And, obviously, we have children together, so it’s not going to be like he’s not in my life. He’s always going to be in my life.”

Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana reportedly keep romance out of Sundance

Sundance: “V/H/S” and “Liberal Arts” lead latest sales deals

TrendPK.com: The Sundance sales continue, as studios snatch up hot properties in the second half of the annual film festival.
Unlike in past years, a strong number of buzzworthy titles have emerged from the 2012 Sundance fest. Even better, most of them are finding homes at supportive distributors, which means we’ll be able to see them sooner rather than later.
So, which films sold in the last 48 hours? Let’s run through the latest acquisitions:
- Mangolia Pictures grabbed the rights to the found-footage horror movie “V/H/S,” an anthology directed by six directors: Adam Wingard, Glenn McQuaid, Radio Silence, David Bruckner, Joe Swanberg and Ti West. The best stories out of Sundance involved audience reactions to “V/H/S,” which included one person fainting and another vomiting. Awesome.
- Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions picked up U.S. rights to “Arbitrage,” Richard Gere’s financial drama. The film was sold for an estimated $2 million.
- Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions partnered with Samuel Goldwyn Films for the rights to “Robot and Frank.”
- And finally, IFC Films grabbed Josh Radnor’s “Liberal Arts,” a well-received follow up to the slight but enjoyable “happythankyoumoreplease.”

Cameron Diaz suspected of facial plastic surgery
TrendPK.com: Cameron Diaz was recently accused of breast augmentation when she was photographed looking bustier than usual, but now she is being suspected of facial plastic surgery.
New pictures of Diaz reportedly show the star looking a little smoother than usual in regard to her forehead, states Hollyscoop. And while she doesn’t appear to have had a face lift, she may have had other treatments like Botox.
Diaz has previously had a nose job that was reportedly done for medical purposes.

“Gossip Girl” star Aaron Tveit lands role in “Les Miserables”

TrendPK.com: “Gossip Girl” actor Aaron Tveit is graduating to some serious company now that he has been cast as a rebellion leader in tom Hooper’s planned adaptation of “Les Miserables.”
Universal and Working Title confirmed the casting this morning, pairing Tveit with Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne (“My Week With Marilyn”). Some other big names are being bandied about for supporting roles, though the likes of Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter have not officially been attached just yet.
Tveit will play Enjolras, a character responsible for a student rebellion in the streets of Paris. He’s best known for ordering Javert’s execution in the story.
As of right now, Hooper is rushing to meet a release date of Dec. 7, 2012.

PTI finalizes preparations for fundraising in Dallas

DALLAS: The Pakistan Tehrik-e- Insaf (PTI) Dallas chapter has finalized the preparations for fund raising dinner to be held at Crown Plaza hotel on Tuesday, August 3 at 6.30 pm.
The Crown Plaza hotel is situated at 14315 Midway Road Addison.
The coordinator of the program Dr. Nasrullah Khan stated that the dinner would be attended by the PTI chief Imran Khan. He will also address the assemblage.
He said that the Dallas community was anxiously waiting for the arrival of Imran Khan.
He further said that several important persons are expected to join the PTI. He said that the Dallas chapter of PTI was busy to make this occasion very successful.
He informed that he was getting tremendous response from the Pakistani community living in Dallas.
He appealed to the community that it was our responsibility to support the leadership that is honest, brave, and undaunted and corruption-free so that an Awami revolution can come into Pakistan and the country can make progress.
