Kim Kardashian reportedly has a stunt ring
TrendPK.com: It would be a pricey loss if anything happened to Kim Kardashian’s 20.5-carat engagement ring, which is why she reportedly has a stand-in ring.
Kim has reportedly had a decoy ring made out of cubic zirconia so that she can always have the rock on her finger, but won’t risk losing the real diamond, states RadarOnline.com. Kim will reportedly only wear the real diamond from Kris Humphries when she’s at events and feels safe with it on.
However, the decoy won’t be all that bad of a ring because she is allegedly getting a top designer to create it so the two look identical.

PHNOM PENH: Saffron-robed Buddhist monks chanted as onlookers gazed silently across a bridge piled with the shoes and torn clothing left behind by victims of a stampede in Cambodia’s capital.
The body count stood at 375 by sunset on Tuesday and was expected to rise. Many people were missing and Cambodians had many questions about one of the darkest days of their country’s
recent and troubled history.
The cause of the stampede on the Diamond Gate bridge late on Monday, the last day of an annual three-day Water Festival, remained a mystery.
“Everyone is shocked that this can happen to us,” said Chhun Sreypong, 45, clutching her one-year-old baby and looking out across Phnom Penh’s Tonle Sap river, from where scores of limp bodies were dragged.
“Those who died were mostly youngsters. Many mothers have lost their children. No one knows why this
Tyson Gay wins London Diamond League
With Usain Bolt done for the 2010 season and Asafa Powell pulling out last minute, Tyson Gay won the 100 meters in a world leading 9.78 seconds at the Aviva London Grand Prix Diamond League Meeting today, August 13, 2010. Gay beat Bolt last week in Stockholm and Powell previously in Gateshead, but today even without Bolt or Powell’s presence, Gay bettered the Jamaican duo’s 2010 world leading 100 meter time. Going into the final heat at the London Diamond League Meeting, Tyson Gay had the fastest time of today’s qualifying heats, going 10.02 over American rival Walter Dix who took the second heat in 10.08. Cold temperatures and a strong head wind didn’t stop Tyson Gay from leading the men’s 100 meter race from start to finish. Like last week in Stockholm and earlier this season in Monaco, Tyson Gay’s 100 meter win in London served as a new meet record at the Crystal Palace Stadium.Yohan Blake of Jamaica came in behind Gay’s 9.78 result today in London, running 9.89 seconds for a healthy personal best. Richard Thompson of Trinidad continued a solid season by placing third 10.05. American Walter Dix, who beat Gay this year in the 200 meters, failed to make in impact in the final and finished last in a disappointing 12.46 after pulling up at 60 meters.Tyson Gay has finished strong during the 2010 Diamond League series, despite battling a nagging hamstring injury over the past year; he admitted to being sore after today’s win in London. The American record holder most recently beat Usain Bolt during their first head-to-head race of 2010 at the Diamond League Stockholm Meeting on August 6. Gay ran 9.84 seconds, getting the surprise 100 meter win and meet record over Bolt’s 9.97 result.Gay holds the American record of 9.69 seconds for the 100 meters from the 2009 Shanghai Grand Prix, while Usain Bolt holds the world record of 9.58 from the IAAF World Championships in Berlin. Tiny & Toya, Season 2, Episode 9 played on BET Tuesday, showcasing DJ Diamond of The Deal getting styled with clothing by Antonia Carter. The ex-wife of
Lil Wayne briefly philosophizes about how everyone needs others to get things done in life. And for Tameka Cottle, that key to life couldn’t be more true, as her friend advises her to share her feelings and struggles via counseling instead of trying to be strong alone. OMG doesn’t get the warmest reception when they perform on Season 2, Episode 9 of Tiny & Toya. But Carter “goes sexy” via photos to promote her new styling upstart.
The Deal’s DJ Diamond Gets Styled by Antonia Carter on Season 2, Episode 9 of Tiny & Toya
At Toya’s house, the two BET stars are checking out the internet (Carter’s website), as she discusses adding fashion-themed touches to it to promote her new venture. “Sexy Face” calls Antonia Carter and tells her about a styling job for The Deal’s DJ Diamond. The ex-wife of Lil Wayne seeks some advice on this, but not before getting herself made up sexy-like for photos so they can be used at her website. Soon after, Carter goes shopping for some “tomboy” fashions for DJ Diamond, which goes over well after some adjustments during the photo shoot.
At Tiny’s mansion, Cottle’s friend suggests that Tameka go into therapy because of all the pressures she’s dealing with, especially over her father. She resists the advice, but at least goes to her pastor for some spiritual guidance. Cottle’s pastor gives encouragement to her, and applauds her for all she handles. Later, TI’s girlfriend and Tamar spend some time with the former’s kids at a play center. It took a lot for Toya to try her hand at hip-hop. She acknowledged that people would probably take her artistic expressions the wrong way, accusing her of following in her ex-hubby’s footsteps. Not so, according to her.?
Clijsters to play Henin at 40,000-capacity stadium
BRUSSELS: Belgian rivals Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin will try to assemble the biggest tennis crowd ever when then play an exhibition match in Brussels at the 40,000-capacity King Baudouin Stadium on July 8.
If the 34,000 tickets are sold and all 6,000 invitees show up for the evening match, it will easily beat the 30,492 fans who attended the 1973 “Battle of the Sexes”” between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs at the Houston Astrodome.
“We can do this together, so why not break this record,”” Henin said Tuesday.
Clijsters, who has won two U.S. Open titles, and Henin, a seven-time Grand Slam champion, both came back from retirement over the past year and have shot back into prominence. Clijsters won at Flushing Meadows last fall and Henin reached the final of the Australian Open this year.
“It is extraordinary. It is almost surreal,”” said Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme, whose government backs the match as a quintessential Belgian statement. “When I talk to world leaders, whether it is in China or the United States, they talk about Kim and Justine.””
The scene of their match at the stadium used for Belgium”s national football team and the Van Damme track meet as a tennis court will only add to that.
Usually a 50,000-seat stadium, 10,000 seats will be sacrificed for a huge television screen to be set up to make sure all fans can see every detail of Henin”s famed backhand or Clijsters” power drive.
The players, too, will revel in the extraordinary conditions.
“It will be very emotional,”” Clijsters said. “It is so much bigger than what we are used to. And, on top, we can break the record.””
Beating the “Battle of the Sexes”” record will not have the social connotations of King”s 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 win over Riggs, when she made a bold statement for a whole generation of women in the United States.
Organizer Bob Verbeeck said King would be invited as an honorary umpire.
This time, the match marks the opening of Belgium”s six-month presidency of the European Union.
Belgium is no stranger to big tennis events. For years, the14,000-capacity Sports Palace in Antwerp drew more than 100,000 people in one week to the Diamond Games tournament.
Tickets to the “Best of Belgium”” match will go for euro20 ($27) oreuro 25 ($34), with profits going to humanitarian causes backed by the two players.
It was still uncertain what surface the two players would have to perform on. Henin excels on clay and Clijsters on hard courts, and a split of the two surfaces might still be picked, Verbeeck said.
Clijsters already has some experience playing special matches. Last year, she was among a handful of stars inaugurating the retractable roof on Centre Court at Wimbledon.
