terrorist attack PNS Mehran 250x131 Karachi: Four killed as terrorist attack PNS Mehran According to sources, there were around 5 blasts which were followed by gunshots. Later, smoke clouds and huge flames could be seen on the site.

Law enforcement agencies and rescue teams have rushed to the site. There are no reports of casualties yet. State of emergency has been declared in all the hospitals in Karachi.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is staging a sit-in in Karachi at Netty Jetty Bridge. A large number of PTI workers along with PTI Chief Imran Khan are participating in the sit-in against the US drone attacks in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

US drone fired 2 missiles targeting a car due to which 3 more miscreants were killed. The beginning of this new year was also done by three drone attacks.

Pakistans political leadership agreed on drone attack: Wikileaks

The recently issued reports of Wikileaks have revealed that the political leadership of Pakistan has given permission to the USA for drone attacks in the tribal region. According to the report it is an undocumented agreement between the government of Pakistan and the USA.

The report has also revealed the fact that the former president Pervez Musharraf gave permission for the drone attacks and assured the USA to sign the pact of resolution of the Kashmir dispute soon. Wikileaks have also disclosed the fact that the interior minister Rehman Malik advised the prime minister to halt the attacks till the completion of Bajaur operation however the prime minister rejected his advice and said that the attacks should be continued till they are targeting the right people. The reports also say that Pakistani politicians oppose the drone attacks publicly but support it privately. Wikilekas has also proved the fact that US army is present with Pakistan army in tribal areas for better coordination during the drone attacks.

9f6fe46b21in NWA.jpg Seven killed in US Drone Attack in NWAMIRANSHAH, News Trends: US drones fired two missiles at a house in Ditta Khel in North Waziristan Thursday, killing seven people, more causalities are feared, officials said.

This is the third attack in North Waziristan within 24 hours. There have been 16 drone attacks in North Waziristan in the month of October while in September there have been more than 20.

Munter reiterates US take on drone strikes

Terming the drone attacks as part of war on terror, US envoy to Pakistan Cameron Phelps Munter has assured Pakistan of all-out support in this regard, Dunya News reported on Friday.
Talking to media after paying homage to Qauid-e-Azam at his mausoleum at Karachi, Munter said I want to strengthen the bilateral ties between the US and Pakistan, and wished that the people of both the countries also respect each other.
The envoy said that instability in Afghanistan would harm Pakistan too but assured complete support to the latter in the ongoing war on terror. He said that Donors Conference would be held in mid November. He said that the US wanted to boost trade ties with Pakistan. He thanked the people of Pakistan for extending a warm welcome to him on his arrival here. Munter was flanked by his wife and US Consul General William Martin.
We should condemn drone attacks: Najam Sethi
Senior Analyst Najam Sethi while talking to Dunya News about US envoys statement over drone attacks said that there was nothing new in his statement and it was the position taken by the US administration. He said that drone technology should be given to Pakistan but the US was not agreed on this. He said that there was an unwritten agreement on drone attacks but we should condemn it.

North Waziristan drone attack kills 7 extremists

3 drone attacks in a row in North Waziristan in an hour have killed at least 7 extremists.Drones aimed at a house in Boya area of North Waziristan at 9pm on Friday night and fired two missiles on it which resulted in complete demolition of the house killing 4 extremists inside. After the attack the accomplices of those killed cordoned off the area and started collecting the debris. Meanwhile another drone fired a missile in Data Khel area of which left 3 extremists dead. The drones continued their flights for a longtime resulting in widespread fears in the area. It was 8th drone attack in North Waziristan during the last one week.

North Waziristan: Drone attack leaves 4 dead

At least 4 people were killed in a drone attack in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.
According to sources, US drone fired a missile on a car near Khushali Zangal, 7 km away from Mir Ali, killing 4 people. The nationalities of those killed have not yet been known. Nearly 16 people have died in drone attacks in the last two days.

Nowshehra: 35 NATO tankers set ablaze

Unidentified persons attacked NATO tankers in Khair Abad area of Noshehra on Wednesday night due to which 35 tankers were completely destroyed.
According to sources, 10 fire brigades are still struggling to extinguish the fire while further fire brigades have been called from Mardan, Peshawar and Noshehra. This is the fourth attack upon the NATO oil tankers on Western Bypass. Police has completely cordoned off the area and security has been tightened.
Attacks on NATO containers have been intensified. 35 NATO oil tankers were torched on Wednesday morning in Quetta. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for the attack. The Taliban said their attacks were to avenge US drone attacks and halt the NATO supply route through Pakistan.
The NATO supply to Afghanistan has not been restored even after an apology was extended to Pakistan and the families of the Frontier Scouts by the US ambassador to Pakistan, Anne Patterson.
