Curfew, protests continue in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: After a one-day break, a strict curfew and restrictions on civilians’ movement remained in force in most parts of the Kashmir Valley on Wednesday with reports of fresh demonstrations and clashes between paramilitary forces and protesters.
Curfew remained in force in Srinagar, Bandipore, Sopore, Baramulla, Kupwara, Budgam, Pulwama, Islamabad and Kulgam while restrictions have been imposed in Ganderbal, Handwara and Shopian towns.
‘I do not need to look out of the window to see the Indian paramilitary troopers and policemen patrolling the road as all of us know they would be there,’ said Zubair Ahmad, 38, a resident of the old city.

Shoania’s valima arrangements finalized
LAHORE: All arrangements of the valima reception of Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza have been finalized here on Tuesday.
Rose flowers have been used in abundance in decoration of the valima hall while the hotel management have brightly illuminated the place.
Police and the hotel management checked the hall to ensure the fool-proof security arrangements at the five-star hotel.
The valima reception will begin at 7-00 pm and continue to 10 pm during which the guests will be served with one dish.

Formula on appointment of administrators in Sindh finalize
Karachi, Pakistan News :- Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) have agreed on a formula to appoint administrators in Sindh.
A meeting of the coalition parties took place at Chief Minister’s House in Karachi during which it was decided to appoint administrators in 23 districts of Sindh. According to the formula, administrators in Karachi and Hyderabad would be appointed on recommendations of MQM while administrators in Sanghar and Umer Kot would be appointed on recommendations of Pakistan Muslim League Functional group. The remaining 19 administrators would be appointed by PPP.
