TCS Salary Hike 2010: TCS Salary Hike confirmed but not percentage
Ajoy Mukherjee, TCSTCS Salary Hike 2010 (TCS Salary Hike confirmed but not percentage): With 50.1 percent YOY and 9.7 percent QOY in the Q4 Result, TCS is now considering salary hike for its employees. According to TCS officials, they are now considering salary hike and the hikes in the salary may be implemented during financial ending March 2010. The actual hike percentage, however, has been decided yet.
“There definitely will be a wage hike but the quantum is not finalised. We are considering three options”, TCS global head of HR Ajoy Mukherjee said address the media when asked about the TCShike.
Right now, there is a variable pay system being implemented in the TCS. The junioir level employees get a salary of which 20% is variable. This percentage is 45% for the senior level officials. The variable component of the salary is calculated based on the overall performance of their respective business unit. The same goes for other companies like Wipro where performance of the business unit affects thesalary of each employee.
TCS now has 1,50,000 employees across the globe and it is one of the biggest software exporter in India.

Lions Receive Tony Scheffler from Denver, Send Ernie Sims to Philadelphia in Three-Team Trade
Just when you thought things were quieting down as we get closer to the draft, a three-team trade involving the Lions has emerged. The details of the trade, as first reported by Adam Schefter and later followed up on by Chris Mortensen, are as follows:
* Lions receive tight end Tony Scheffler and a seventh-round pick from the Broncos
* Eagles receive linebacker Ernie Sims from the Lions
* Broncos receive a fifth-round pick from the Eagles
My first reaction is wow. I certainly did not see another trade coming involving the Lions before the draft, and I definitely did not expect Ernie Sims to be involved. I figured the Lions were content with Sims going forward and were happy to not have a major need at linebacker. As it turns out, though, you can put linebacker at the top of the list of needs and take tight end off the list altogether.
Tony Scheffler is a good receiving tight end that will be a nice complement to Brandon Pettigrew and another target for Matthew Stafford. It has been no secret just based on who the Lions were bringing in for pre-draft visits that tight end was a need, but I didn’t think it would be addressed via a trade of this magnitude.
In addition to receiving Scheffler from the Broncos, the Lions are also going to get a seventh-round pick, giving them four total selections in the seventh round. You would have to think the Lions will consider packaging some of those picks together to move up into the sixth round or something. Only three are tradeable since one is a compensatory selection, but I kind of have a hard time believing the Lions are just stockpiling seventh-round picks for the hell of it.

he trade of Donovan McNabb from the Eagles to the Redskins is bad for Sam Bradford, bad for the Detroit Lions and could be either good or bad for the St. Louis Rams — depending on whether they’re willing to spend No. 1-pick money to secure Bradford.
The deal gives the Redskins some flexibility at the No. 4 spot in the first round and has little if any impact on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are picking No. 3. And it’s hard to say for sure what it means for Jimmy Clausen.
With only two and a half weeks left before the NFL Draft, this is a deal that has shaken things up at the top of the first round. Here’s a look at how the McNabb deal impacts the way things will unfold when the draft gets underway on Thursday night, April 22.t hurts Bradford’s leverage. Bradford can talk all he wants about how he likes the Rams just fine and is willing to play for anybody who picks him. But the fact is that there are people around Bradford who wanted him in Washington, playing for Mike Shanahan. And at the very least, having the deep-pocket Redskins interested was helping Bradford as he negotiated a potential deal with the Rams — Bradford is looking to get a larger contract than last year’s No. 1 pick, Matthew Stafford, got from the Lions. And until Sunday night, Bradford had the ability to tell the Rams that, if they wouldn’t pay him, he knew for sure Washington would, and encourage a trade between St. Louis and Washington. The Bradford camp can now try to use the Seahawks in the same way. And it could work, since Seattle likely would jump at a chance to get Bradford. But the Seahawks aren’t picking until No. 6, and that may be farther than the Rams want to move down.

Watch Eagles Vs Redskins Score
Watch Eagles Vs Redskins Score, only people who enjoy the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins loss to the Kansas City Chiefs fans at least Philadelphia and Washington – were executives from ESPN. Why? Because the Eagles and Redskins are on Monday Night Football this week.

What a dog of a game this will be. The Eagles three victories came against teams with a combined record of 3-17, while the Redskins are the first team in NFL history to play their first six games in a row against a team without a win. His record is only 2-3. These are two bad teams.
To make matters worse, both teams have good defenses. That might be more a reflection of the level of competition that these two are good defense, but the Eagles are ranked 4th overall and the Redskins are ranked 6th. That may be good in terms of football, but it’s sure to be a ratings disaster for ESPN.
After the loss to the chiefs, head coach Jim Zorn was stripped of his play functions. That work has already been given to Sherm Lewis, who was calling the bingo numbers in a retirement home two weeks ago. Nothing against Sherm Lewis, who was a fine offensive coordinator in his day, but his time has passed. Interestingly, his last job was as offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions in 2004 when the current offensive coordinator, Marty Mornhinweg was the head coach. How the hell is supposed to be Lewis plays when you do not know the strengths and weaknesses of their personnel and probably not too familiar with the whole playbook. How could you be familiar with the playbook? It is your offensive and just arrived. This kind of stupidity could only happen under Daniel Snyder. OK, Jerry Jones could do something so stupid as well. Sherm Lewis moves two weeks after calling bingo is a recipe for disaster.
The Redskins are sticking with Jason Campbell, QB, although the offense is ranked 23rd overall in the NFL. (All Jim Zorn’s fault, remember?) This is the best hope for the Eagles to a victory. Campbell simply sucks. Campbell has demonstrated that his game is not a point of departure the NFL QB, but somehow he is 3-2 in his career against the Eagles. Its global crapiness has a negative effect on their environment-in-the best WRs. The best offensive weapon is the Redskins TE Chris Cooley. If Lewis is no point going to throw the ball to Cooley all day against the Eagles, as their linebackers can not cover anyone. The already shaky offensive line took a big hit when LT Chris Samuels was lost during the year. That, in turn, effect on how well RB Clinton Portis can run the ball with his own calf injury.
The Eagles defense is better to defend the pass, but again, when you’re facing guys like Josh Johnson, Jake Delhomme, JaMarcus Russell and Matt Cassell, you have to try not be a defense overpass. The Redskins will most likely try to establish the run with Portis and Cooley throw to take advantage of LBS Eagles. Foolish enough to bring a coach out of retirement and turning their offense to him within two weeks can be, what about signing a MLB, who has not played in two years of retirement and put him in the starting initial? The Eagles did with Jeremiah Trotter, who tells him how bad his game this season was LB. He was left alone Zach Miller DT score in the loss to the Raiders. The Eagles are so desperate that now traded for Will Witherspoon, who will start against the Redskins. Yes, what could go wrong with that? Campbell and Redskins WRs are off the Eagles D-backs, but that’s nothing new. I predict that color ESPN commentator Ron Jaworski, compare Asante Samuel aversion to address that of Deion Sanders, at least once.

Michael Vick Eagles Signed Two Years Deal
Michael Vick has signed a two year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, a shocking move considering the Eagles were one of 26 teams claiming to have no interest in the former first round draft pick. My how things change when your backup quarterback gets hurt! Eagles backup QB Kevin Kolb strained a knee ligament earlier this week, opening the door for Vick and a $1.6 million contract for the first year and an option for $5.2 in the second year.
Michael Vick is available immediately for practice and is eligible to play in the last two preseason games of the season. He can’t participate in regular season games until he is reinstated by the NFL, which commissioner Roger Goodell says he will consider by week 6 (Oct. 18-19) at the latest.
The news was announced during the team’s preseason game against the New England Patriots and according to ESPN, the “stadium was buzzing by halftime as word spread. Fans standing on the concourse were in disbelief. One guy wondered how quickly he’d be able to buy a Vick jersey. Another asked if this was a joke.”
Philadelphia Eagles and Michael Vick
Philadelphia Eagles and Michael Vick, Michael Vick has agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The story was originally broken Thursday evening by Dan Sileo of WDAE in Tampa. Chris Mortensen followed up a half hour later, during ESPN’s broadcast of Cardinals vs. Steelers. The news has been confirmed by Joel Segal, Vick’s agent.
It’s a one-year deal for $1.6 million, with a team option for 2010 at $5.2 million.
According to a source close to Vick, the quarterback picked the Eagles over one other top candidate. He has to pass a physical before joining the team.
