Corey Haim Dead Corey Feldman, Corey Feldman spoke out about his late friend and co-star Corey Haim, saying that despite the fact that Haim made “so many attempts” at suicide,” in the past he doesn’t feel that was the cause of Haim’s death.

“He made so many attempts at suicide,” Feldman said today on “The Early Show.” “He’s OD’d so many times. I mean, I can’t begin to tell you having him foaming at the mouth, coming down stairs and finding him that way and drooling and not able to speak, and me, having to put charcoal down his throat so that he could breathe.”

But Feldman says his friend was on the right track.

“This is a man who was pushing forward and more than anything in the world wanted to be there for his mother. I don’t think it was a suicide, and I don’t think it was an intentional overdose.”

Feldman told “The Early Show” that despite Haim’s battle with addiction, he was a good man.

“He made a lot of mistakes,” he said. “But he always had his talent, he always had his skill and he always tried to be the best person he could.”

Johnny Depp Wins His 2nd Sexiest Man Alive Title

NEW YORK: Johnny Depp Wins His 2nd Sexiest Man Alive Title, Get lost, Hugh Jackman. This year’s “Sexiest Man Alive” is once again Johnny Depp.

Depp nudged aside Jackman to get the coveted endorsement from People magazine Wednesday. It’s the 46-year-old actor’s second time as “Sexiest Man Alive.” He also won in 2003.

Kate Coyne, senior editor at People, said on CBS’ “Early Show” that Depp has achieved an almost “iconic status in terms of sexiness.”

Says Coyne: “Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He’ll be sexy 10 years from now. He’s someone who appeals to multiple generations of women.”

Depp joins other double winners Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Richard Gere.

Matt Bomer, who stars in USA’s “White Collar,” was named “Sexiest Rising Star.”
