“White Nose Syndrome”:Manu Ginobili swatted a bat on the court in San Antonio Halloween night. It will be a top 10 NBA highlight this season, and a top 50 sports highlight this year. The bat was wounded and flew away or died. Who gives a shit what happened to it – we’re talking about a bat! (Yes, we’re aware of White Nose Syndrome. It is far down our lists of concerns, right before “is it time to switch paper towel brands?” and after “if offered $7,500, would I get in a shark cage in Australia?”) Of course, PETA is outraged about Ginobili’s reaction to the bat. PETA is the worst. They are worse than the radical right and left combined. We may go out and buy a really nice and expensive fur coat tonight just to spite them. Even if we can’t afford it.

Election Results November 2009,Election Results New Jersey:Election day November 2009, polling place locator and New Jersey election results. President barrack Obama’s popularity is going to be tested in gubernatorial elections in two important states in the US. Virginia and New Jersey are sure to go Republican way and this would be a big embarrassment for President Obama and his team. And Democrats seemed to be prepared for the defeat in both the states and are saying that it wouldn’t matter much in the run up to next Congressional polls next year.

President Obama’s popularity has gone downhill following his failure to contain economic slide. Though there are signs that the economy is coming out of recession, but common people’s woes are not going to be over anytime soon.

The war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan is also taking its toll and the war in the two Islamic nations are not going to end anytime soon.

In fact the recent spurt in violence in Iraq has showed that the US cannot pull out of the Gulf nation in near future.

On the other hand experts are saying that the war in Afghanistan is going Vietnam way as the death tally of Americans is increasing day by day. And the condition is going to get worse.

Pakistan too has not been able to contain Taliban on its side of the border. Taliban on the other hand have a field day in Pakistan detonating bomb every day in Pakistan’s major cities.

Meanwhile voter confidence in Americas conduct of the War on Terror has fallen to its lowest level since January 2007, where a poll showed Tuesday that voters are also much less optimistic about the course of the war in Iraq.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone polling showed that finds that just 34 percent of voters say the US and its allies are winning the War on Terror, which is nine points down from a month ago and 21 points from when US President Barack Obama first took office.
