Section 144 was imposed in Larkana city to control cheating during the Intermediate examination and the photocopy shops were also closed on the order of DPO Larkana.

KU postpones all M.A papers today
KARACHI: The University of Karachi postponed the MA examination scheduled for Thursday (today) due to the forecast of heavy rainfall in the city, a notification said on Wednesday.
According to the notification, the new date for the postponed examination would be announced later.
BCom-I (Reg) annual exam results: University of Karachi’s Examination Department declared the results of BCom Part- I (Regular) Annual Examination 2009 on Wednesday.
As per statistics, 16,798 students were registered, 16,356 of which appeared in the examination. The number of candidates who succeeded was 4,116, bringing the passing percentage to 25.17 percent.
SSC-II General (Reg) marks sheets: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi announced that the marks sheets of SSC Part-II General group (Regular) Annual Examination 2010 would be ready for collection (town-wise) from Monday.
Representatives of all recognised schools could collect the marks sheets with authority letters of principals. Marks sheets of the schools located in New Karachi and North Nazimabad towns would be ready to collect from July 12, while those in Gulberg, Liaquatabad, Jamshed and Gulshan-e-Iqbal towns from July 13.
Keamari, SITE, Lyari, Korangi, Orangi and Baldia towns’ schools could collect the marks sheets from July 14, while those in Saddar, Shah Faisal, Landhi, Malir, Bin Qasim and Gadap towns from July 15.

Let’s just break the suspense and go through the plot of the movie. The movie “Stay Alive” is definitely a horror based on a video game. The story is that a teenager named Loomis tests a game with his two friends. The game is basically underground and was not legally released. In the game the players go through their mission in a haunted mansion and face many horrific obstacles in the way. Sooner or later every player in the game dies because the game is very difficult. Loomis and his two 
friends also die in the game. The night Loomis dies in the game, he started hearing strange things in his house and follows the sound to find out At some point, somebody is going to come from 3-0 down and win a series. The only thing I knew for sure was it would start by winning Game 4,” Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. “I figured that one out. You have to win Game 4. … This was a must-win.”

Remember the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)? This is the examination that determines if pre-med students will become actual physicians. If I were asked to submit MCAT questions, as a practicing physician, I would bring a real world flavor to the examination They found that MCAT scores were “moderately” correlated with both med school performance and USMLE scores — even scores for the third part of the licensing test, taken five years after the MCAT. However, revisions to the MCAT in 1978 and 1991 did nothing to improve its predictive value. In fact, the test got worse at predicting the performance on the second part of the licensing exam, usually taken in the fourth year of med school.
The study, published in Academic Medicine, also found that the MCAT did better at predicting performance by women than men, for reasons that aren’t clear.
Why is this all important? The Association of American Medical Colleges said last year it’s launching a comprehensive review of the MCAT, with a revamped exam due out in 2013 or later. “It is essential that any plans to revise the MCAT include efforts to strengthen its ability to predict students’ performance” on the second part of the licensing exam “and to minimize the differential validity related to gender,” the authors write.

There was no center of authority, and a peace plan Mr. Yar’Adua had enacted for the violence-plagued oil-producing south seemed in danger of falling apart.
Mr. Yar’Adua, shielded by his wife and other supporters, did not appear in public and made no statements, apart from a few faltering words to the BBC in January from his hospital room. As public anger over the power vacuum grew amid fears that the country would revert to military dictatorship, the National Assembly reluctantly acted in February, handing power over to Mr. Yar’Adua’s vice president, Goodluck Jonathan.
