MQM’s delegation reaches Pervaiz Elahi’s residence

Dr. Imran Farooq’s Funeral on Nov 6

News Trends: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), on Monday announced that body of its former convener, Dr. Imran Farooq will be sent to Pakistan from London by a PIA flight on November 5.

Dr. Imran Farooq will be laid to rest  in Shuhada graveyard at Azizabad here on November 6, this decision was made at a meeting of MQM Rabita Committee in London and Pakistan on Monday,said a statement issued by the party.

The London Police on Monday informed the MQM Rabita Committee and the relatives of Dr. Imran Farooq with regard to handing over of the body of slain leader to his relatives, the statement said.

After receiving the body of Dr. Imran Farooq, the Namaz-e-Janaza will be held on November 4, after Zohar prayers at Hyden Mosque, West Hyden, Broadway, London, consequently the body will be sent to Pakistan on November 5, by a PIA Flight.

The Namaz-e-Janaza of the slain leader will also be held at Jinnah Ground Azizabad after zohar prayers on November 6. Later the deceased will be laid to rest  in Shuhada graveyard at Azizabad here.

Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee, Dr. Farooq Sattar, members MQM body, Raza Haroon, Mustafa Kamal, Wasey Jaleel and Dr. Imran’s  widow Shumaila Imran as well as his children will also accompany  the body of the slain leader.

The MQM Rabita Committee has appealed to the people to attend the Namaz-e-Janaza to pay tribute to Dr. Imran Farooq.

Dr. Imran Farooq’s corpse to be buried in Karachi after arrival on Saturday

LONDON: The corpse of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) slain leader, Dr. Imran Farooq, will be burried in Karachi and it is likely that his dead body will reach to Karachi on Saturday.

Sources told that the police handed over, on Monday, the remains of Dr. Imran Farooq to his parents in London.

The sources added that the corpse of Dr. Imran Farooq would be buried in Yasinabad’ Shohda Graveyard. His funeral prayer would be performed in London on Thursday.

The parents of Dr. Imran Farooq reached in London with a Raza Haroon last week while the wife and a brother of the slain MQM leader were already present in London.

Dr. Imran Farooq was a very prominent leader of MQM. He was murdered on September 16 by some unknown attackers in London. Trend Pk

Dead body of Imran Farooq to reach Karachi on Thursday

The dead body of the former convener of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Dr. Imran Farooq (late) has been handed over to the heirs of the deceased whereas his namaz-e janaza would be offered in London tomorrow whereas his dead body would reach Karachi on Thursday night and on the same day it would be laid to rest in Yasinabad graveyard in Karachi, Dunya News reported on Monday.
According to sources the dead body of Dr. Imran Farooq would be handed over to the heirs on Tuesday morning and tomorrow the namaz-e janaza would be offered in London in which MQM Chief Altaf Hussain is also expected to participate. The body of the late leader of MQM would reach Karachi by Thursday and on the same day the body would be laid to rest in Karachi. The security measures would be beefed up on the occasion of funeral and namaz-e janaza in Karachi.
