Salman Taseer: Shahbaz became CM through court stay

Lahore, Pakistan News :- Governor Punjab Salman Taseer said on Monday that Shahbaz Sharif became Chief Minister Punjab through a stay order of the court. He said government did not feel necessary to defend National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

Talking in an interview in Lahore, Taseer said that Asghar Khan case should also be reopened. He maintained that cases against President Asif Ali Zardari were filed during Nawaz Sharif and Musharraf’s regime on political basis. Taseer said Pakistan has become house of problems at the moment but everyone is jammed on NRO issue. He said institutions are being confronted by creating constitutional crisis and criticizing one party. Taseer opined that the judiciary should not interfere in administration issues.
