During the telephonic conversation, US envoy urged Nawaz Sharif that Pakistani government should give US diplomat, Raymond Davis, under US custody because Davis possesses immunity under diplomatic relations being an employee of US consulate.

Declining US envoys demand, Nawaz Sharif replied that loss of three precious lives of Pakistani citizens had deeply hurt entire nation, adding that only court could come up with ultimate judgment on the issue.

I cant do anything as the matter is currently being heard in court, Nawaz concluded.

Earlier, Pakistan foreign office had said that US citizen Raymond Davis has no diplomatic immunity because he is not an official of US foreign office but he is a part of technical and administrative staff in the US embassy in Islamabad.

c2d888a7karanjo1 Karan Johar joins Deepika and Purab in upcoming Nescafe ad

He came, he saw… but, he just couldn’t conquer! We are referring to the ironic situation of the VJ-turned actor Purab Kohli; despite having the gorgeous Deepika Padukone as his neighbour, he just couldn’t get his feelings across to her. No…. even before you can get into the layer of things, let us tell you that, the aforementioned was the ‘plot’ of the ongoing Nescafe series.

Well, as they say, the plot gets thicker. And the thickness now lies in the fact, that, now besides Deepika, Purab will now be joined by none other than the master filmmaker Karan Johar, according to Bollywood Hungama’s confirmed sources. The same source also added that the trio has even shot for the ad that shows Karan walking into Deepika’s house, even as Purab is trying hard to impress her. Despite knowing the fact that ‘he’ is Karan Johar, Purab pretends not to know him and hence starts asking him about his profession like ‘Are you a badminton player?” etc…

With KJo joining the gang, sipping coffee (or is it ‘Koffee’ now?), will just get even more stimulating. What say, folks!

SOUTHERAN KURILES/NORTHERN TERRITORIES: Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited an island claimed by Moscow and Tokyo on Monday, sparking a diplomatic row with Japan as it struggles to mend ties with rising rival China.

Medvedev’s visit to the island, one of four known as the Southern Kuriles in Russia and the Northern Territories in Japan, was likely to snarl ties with Japan ahead of an Asia-Pacific leaders summit that Japan will host in mid-November.

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan quickly expressed regret over the visit — the first by a Russian leader.

“Japan’s stance is that those four northern islands are part of our country’s territory, so the president’s visit is very regrettable,” Kan told a parliamentary panel.

Japanese Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara said any such visit would “hurt the feelings of the Japanese people”. Maehara said last

haterade apple adobeWe’re not exactly sure where The Flash Blog stands as a mouthpiece of Adobe corporate (official vs. unofficial), but they’ve certainly let their feelings be known without any sugar coating or corporate speak. Lee Brimelow, the author is a Platform Evangelist at Adobe focusing on the Flash, Flex, and AIR developer communities.

What is clear is that Apple has timed this purposely to hurt sales of CS5. This has nothing to do whatsoever with bringing the Flash player to Apple’s devices. That is a separate discussion entirely. What they are saying is that they won’t allow applications onto their marketplace solely because of what language was originally used to create them. This is a frightening move that has no rational defense other than wanting tyrannical control over developers and more importantly, wanting to use developers as pawns in their crusade against Adobe. This does not just affect Adobe but also other technologies like Unity3D. [...] Now let me put aside my role as an official representative of Adobe for a moment as I would look to make it clear what is going through my mind at the moment. Go screw yourself Apple.
