Irina Krupnik

Irina Krupnik, The Manhattan bikini model and make up artist is furious a character in the hit comedy, played by Jon Favreau, used her image in a risque scene that shows her on the cover of a brochure at the fictional resort island for couples, on the island Bora Bora.

In the claim, Irina Krupnik had no idea a photo shoot done ten years ago would see her appear in the Hollywood romance flick: “That photo was taken nearly 10 years ago for a modeling job when Ms. Krupnik, a native of the former Soviet Union, was just 21 years old.”

The $10 million legal claim states that Irina Krupnik was unaware the photo of her in a bikini in a beach would ever be used in such a “degrading context”

The claim also says the makers of Couples Retread, NBC Universal, should have used a photo by a model that was aware her image would be used in the adults only scene for the romantic comedy hit.

Now Irina Krupnik wants $10 million from NBC Universal for invading her privacy. Irina Krupnik Krupnik said the scene has cause her “great humiliation, embarrassment, emotional distress, shame, mortification and injury to her reputation and career.”

Friday Night Lights Movie

Friday Night Lights:

My wife and I just finished the first season of Friday Night Lights (the television show, not the movie). The show is a teen drama that follows the ups and downs of the fictional town of Dillon and its obsession with its football team, the Dillon Panthers. Dillon’s fictional locale is somewhere in west-central Texas, about four hours from Austin. I started off the series somewhat reluctantly, knowing I would end up mad and disappointed with politically correct plots, but I have been pleasantly surprised. It is available on DVD, BitTorrent, and also via Netflix’s instant streaming service.

Jett Jackson

Jett Jackson, The Famous Jett Jackson was a joint Canadian and American Disney Channel Original Series coming of age television series for children ages 12–16 about a boy named Jett Jackson Lee Thompson Young who plays a teenage secret-agent on a fictional TV show-within-a-show called Silverstone. Jett lives and films Silverstone in his fictional hometown of Wilsted, North Carolina, where his father is the sheriff. However, the actual series, The Famous Jett Jackson, was filmed in Brooklin, Ontario.

Jett succeeds in getting the production of Silverstone moved to Wilsted, North Carolina, thus providing jobs to townspeople while affording Jett the chance to live with his father, Sheriff Wood Jackson, and his great-grandmother, Miz Coretta whom Jett calls Nana.

Assault on Precinct 13, Assault on Precinct 13 is a 1976 American action/thriller film inspired by the Howard Hawks western film Rio Bravo. It was written and directed by John Carpenter. The film tells of the fictional attack on a police precinct by the Street Thunder gang out for retribution for the death of their comrades. The film received mixed reviews with an unimpressive box office return in the US. However, it went on to receive tremendous critical and popular acclaim in Europe.

Mercy Me Accident

Mercy Me Accident, Two people died when their car struck a tour bus carrying the Dallas Christian pop band MercyMe in Fort Wayne, IN, according to media reports.

No one from the band was injured but a male and female passenger in the car were killed in the accident.

The pregnant female driver of the car was transported hospital.

The band has canceled a concert at Six Flags St. Louis which was scheduled for today.
