Manoj Bajpayee to be honoured at IFFI
It was for the film Pinjar that Manoj Bajpayee was honoured with one of the most prestigious awards, the National Award for his performance in the film. Well, the actor who is known for his intense characters in films will soon be receiving yet another accolade.
The award in question is the being given by the Directorate of Film Festival, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Government of Goa, which will honour the actor for his contribution to new emerging cinema on November 22 at the International Film Festival in Goa.
Talking about the honour, Manoj states, “I am very happy & humbled by this decision.
They selected me for my work that is yet more rewarding. To be honoured and facilitated in the presence of international film fraternity is definitely great. For me, as an actor, filmmaking is a constant changing process. Indian cinema has come a long way and my contribution to it has brought me pleasure. As an artiste, I too, I have evolved alongwith it.”
Bajpayee recently got rave reviews for his grey shaded character in Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti.
Shilpa Shetty Ready for her sangeet

MUMBAI: Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty is ready for her sangeet, a day before her grand wedding with London businessman Raj Kundra on Sunday.
Shilpa’s sangeet ceremony, which will be attended by family members and her close friends from the film fraternity, is being held in Khandala.
Reports are that Shilpa will be dancing to the tunes of her own hit numbers with Raj and choreographer Ganesh Hegde will see to it that everybody’s dance moves are perfect.
The couple’s family members and close friends will also be performing. Raj’s family has already flown from London for the ceremony.
The sangeet is likely to b a mix of both south and Punjabi style dance and music. Apart from Shilpa’s own songs, there will be some high-tempo numbers too.
