"It was such a pleasure to shoot with SRK" – Sonal Chauhan

Sonal Chauhan, the dusky beauty who was last seen in Jannat opposite Emraan Hashmi, is back with a ‘brand’ in a new advertisement for Dish TV with none other than the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
Bollywood Hungama caught up with the beautiful actress to find out more, who willingly tells us, “Yes actually, we have finished with the shoot for the ad about 25 days ago and currently it is being aired on TV networks.”
Talking about working with SRK, she says, “It was such a pleasure to shoot with SRK. Firstly, I am a big admirer of his, so when I was approached for the ad by the ad director, I was more than willing. There was no way I was going to say no.”
“The ad itself was shot very fast. I think the reason for this is that Shah Rukh is such a magnificent person that all his shots were done in just a single take, besides one more thing I noticed while shooting at Yash Raj studios was that SRK is such a gentleman.”
Coming to her films, Sonal says, “My film with Owais Hussain is ready, and currently it is being edited since we have finished shooting. However, I cannot tell you anymore as Owais is the best person to speak to about this. Apart from this, I have another film lined up but again, I can’t tell you much as it’s still a bit too early.”

Bastille Day is the French equivalent of Fourth of July and New Years rolled into one; a day-long celebration of nationality and joie de vivre. You can easily create your own version of the July 14th holiday with our help.
What the candy table at Miette illustrates is the power of a color palette. Miette designed it with a sea theme in mind but that design also works for the Fourth of July or the Bastille Day party. They even sell the star lollipops in red or ocean blue.
I got this idea from a succulent dessert I ate at l’Apéritif à la Française last Thursday night. They were so delicious that I ate two. You can achieve the color palette through the tableware and the food.

An easy dessert is to serve the classic panna cotta topped with strawberries and blueberries. Glue a star sticker on the jar or tie a ribbon to finish the look.

If you have not heard of Jeff Koons, but you do not know what I missed. Dover, New York, a resident of the city took the art world by storm with its huge views of ordinary objects, like a balloon animal or a heart.
The color photographs have brought national recognition and was honored recently at the Governor’s Award of Pennsylvania for the arts in New York.

As to www.google.com and look at some of his creations. Do not miss Paris 24 Hours of Le Mans on Saturday and Sunday of resistance, in which Koons has created a colorful design for the BMW M3 GT2.
We saw a name pop up today trending on Google. We decided to find out more on why he is there but we weren’t able to get info out of it so we just decided to go to Wikipedia and this was what we found about the guy. Oh.. I just love it how Wikipedia now almost has everything.
Tom Otterness was born in Wichita on the year 1952. He is a famous American sculptor. Most of his works now are in plazas, libraries, museums, parks etc etc.. Just about any place you could think of that has a sculpture and more or less his works would be there.
He also has sculptors in other parts of the world. That’s amazing! This guy must be really really rich. ^_^

Tropical Cyclone Phet threatens the Indian and Pakistani coastlines
Tropical cyclone 03A has intensified quickly in the last 24 hours, and as a result, the storm has been renamed Tropical Storm Phet. Phet is located in the Arabian Sea, Northern Indian Ocean, and is threatening the Indian and Pakistani coastlines, NASA satellite imagery has claimed.
NASA’s Aqua satellite flew over Tropical Storm Phet on June 1 at 9:11 UTC (5:11 EDT) and captured an infrared image of the cloud top temperatures. The image indicated large areas of high, cold cloud tops, as cold as -63 degrees Fahrenheit, indicating strong convection.
At 1500 UTC (11 a.m. EDT) on June 1, Tropical Storm Phet had maximum sustained winds near 55 knots (62 mph) with higher gusts. Phet was located about 550 miles south-southwest of Karachi, Pakistan, near 16.8 North and 62.2 East. Phet is moving to the northwest near 6 knots (7 mph).
Current landmasses threatened by Phet include: India (Gujarat), Pakistan (Sindh and Balochistan).
Phet is forecast to continue strengthening and turn northeast later this week. The Joint Typhoon Warning Center forecasts landfall by the end of the week in the border area between India and Pakistan.

Weather prediction models suggested that the cyclone would intensify and move slowly in a north-northwesterly/northerly direction and then recurve northeastwards towards Gujarat and adjoining Pakistan coast, it said.
Coastal Gujarat is expected to be battered by squally winds with speed reaching 55-65 kmph gusting 75 kmph from tomorrow which could increase gradually, the weather office said.
According to cyclone tracking models, some parts of coastal Gujarat may experience very strong winds packing speed of up to 125 kmph.

The Joint Typhoon Warning Center forecasts landfall by the end of the week in the border area between India and Pakistan. The Indian Meteorological Department, Gujarat, has alerted pepole in the Kutch and Saurashtra coastal areas near Arabian Sea.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the preparations in an emergency meeting held on Tuesday evening with senior government officials in the wake of cyclone warning.
The London-based Tropical Storm Risk Group said that Karachi and Shahbandar in Pakistan; and Jakhar, Mandvi, Sonmiani, Morbi and Jamnagar in Gujarat could be subjected to the fury of the storm of category-2 strength on the Saffir-Simpson scale of intensity.
The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) shows ‘Phet’ settling into a perch over north Gujarat and adjoining south-west Rajasthan, 24 hours into landfall on Friday/Saturday but without losing much intensity.

Google Pac-Man Doodle
A little more than 30 years ago, Toru Iwatani helped himself to a slice of pizza and looked down at what was left. What he saw inspired one of the world’s most recognized video games: Pac-Man, first released in Japan on May 22, 1980, by Namco.
On Friday, Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde were back, this time as guest stars on the Google home page, trolling along the search engine’s iconic logo. (For those who subscribe to iGoogle, click on the “Classic” home page option on the upper right-hand corner to see the game.)
Google has twiddled with its logo hundreds of times before (about 700 times, in fact). The first time was in 1999 when Google’s founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin put a wooden stick man behind the logo as a tongue-in-cheek way of saying they’d be out of the office attending the Burning Man festival. You can read a history of Google Doodles here.
One of our favorites appeared this April Fool’s Day, when Google changed the logo to read “Topeka,” in response to the Kansas city’s mock attempt to change its own name to Google, Kansas, in a bid to become a super-fast experimental Internet hub for Google
6th grader sings lady gaga

Before Greyson Michael Chance’s cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” became a YouTube smash, the Oklahoma sixth-grader was already a star in Kelly Cheek’s classroom. “He’s an amazing student to have,” Cheek, who’s been Chance’s choir teacher at Edmond, Okla.’s Cheyenne Middle School since January, tells the Music Mix. “He’s always playing the piano in class. The kids are always wanting him to sing for them. He’s the reason why I wanted to teach, because of kids like him.”
Chance represented Cheyenne at an annual choir festival for Edmond’s five middle schools this April 12. Cheek says he was originally planning to cover 3OH!3?s “Still Around” before a last-minute switch to “Paparazzi.” “He decided about a week before…He brought that song in one day after school and sang it for me. I just said, ‘You have to do that one! It’s amazing!’”
If this new fangled Internet machine has proven one thing to us, it’s that we wasted our youth smoking pot and reading comic books. It seems like every damn day there’s a video of some little turd doing some amazing music thing and we’re left trying to find someone to talk to about the time Psylocke showed some massive cleavage in the X-Men. This kid tackled Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” on the piano, which either makes him a rad dude or a weirdo; we’re not so certain what’s cool in middle schools these days.
While the above video doesn’t demonstrate any real musical anomaly it’s worth watching through and through to see the looks of his female classmates as he absolutely slays them in whatever competition this was. Sure, the little kid can sing, but we’ll hold off on calling him a phenomenon until he writes his own damn song
