Car Sinks Into Canal Near Sargodha Four Dead
SARGODHA: At least four persons lost their lives as a car they were onboard sinks in a channel after it went out of control near Sargodha early on Tuesday, Geo news reported.
According to sources, a car, bound to Khushab from Jhang, went out of control in Jhal Jhakkian area near Sargodha, slipping into Lower Jehlum Channel.
Consequently, four persons sunk to death while the driver was injured and a person safeguarded himself by jumping out of car before it could fall into channel, police sources said.
The killed persons were later identified as Khan Muhammad, Rab Nawaz, Muhammad Hayat and Zulfiqar. Four killed persons were said to be belonging to Jhang district, sources added.

ISLAMABAD: The fire, broke out on the fifth floor of the Foreign Office (FO) building late on Monday night, has been brought under control shortly before arrival of fire tenders, FO sources said.
