5 killed in Karachi firing incident

Five persons including two officials of intelligence agency and one constable of Rangers were killed and four others injured in different incidents of firing in Karachi, trendpk.Com reported on Friday.

According to details, unidentified persons opened fire in Redhi Goth area of Karachi and killed two intelligence agency men named Safeer and Imdad Chandue. While near meteorologist office unidentified persons opened fire and killed a constable of Rangers named Shoukat Feroz. On the other hand, two women got injured by the firing of unidentified persons near Gulistan-e-Johar Rabia City while a 50-year-old person sustained injuries in Garden area.

KARACHI: At least three persons have perished in latest killings’ row on Thursday in the metropolis.

According to police, one 25 year old unidentified youth’s tortured and bag packed dead body was found near Netty Jetty Bridge, Keamari.

Another hands and legs tied dead body of a 30 year old youth was recovered near Lyari Park in Pak Colony. The unknown deceased was shot in the head after kidnapping.

In third incident, 22 year old Hanif was shot dead in Memon Goth area of Malir.

After the firing and violence incidents, tension has gripped Pak Colony, Malir and Lyari areas of the city. Trend Pk

Karachi violence intensifies, 11 more killed amid red alert

At least 11 people have been killed and several others got injured in the firing of unidentified persons in Sher Shah Kabari Market, Karachi, on Tuesday and the death toll in the firing and targeted killings incidents have reached to 58.
The armed attackers entered Sher Shah Kabari Market and opened indiscriminate firing, killing at least 10 people. Afterwards, they successfully fled the scene amid high alert security at the entry and exit points of the market.
Unidentified miscreants set afire a bus at Karimabad, while Asif was gunned down at Malir Dadu Goth in firing by some unknown felons. Tortured bodies of a man and woman were found from Manghu Pir, whereas some bodies were also recovered from Gulshan Iqbal, Moti Mahal and Awami Colony. Two dead bodies of youths, who were kidnapped earlier and later shot dead, were found from Eid Gah locality on Monday night, police said. Another dead body, having marks of brutal torture, was found near Moti Mahal in Gulshan-e-Iqbal locality.Two more persons, including a security guard, were gunned down in Liaquatabad town. Four unidentified men were shot and killed in Site Area, Baldia Town, Methadar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal areas.
Heavy police and rangers contingents are in positioned in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, police and rangers have claimed arresting more than 80 suspected miscreants who were allegedly involved in target killings, rampaging, torching vehicles, and triggering riots in city.

At least 12 people have been killed and several others got injured in the firing of unidentified persons in Sher Shah Kabari Market, Karachi, on Tuesday and the death toll in the firing and targeted killings incidents have reached to 58.

Afterwards, they successfully fled the scene amid claims of high alert security in the city. The dead and the injured have been shifted to the Civil Hospital. It was unfortunate that SHO of the area was not aware of the incident and police reached the spot 30 minutes after the incident took place in Sher Shah Market.

4 more fall prey to firing incidents in Karachi

Different incidents of firing claimed at least 4 lives in Karachi on Monday. Residents of Liaqat Abad blocked the road after the killing of a man allegedly by police firing during a dacoity.
According to police, 28-year-old Adnan fell prey to a firing incident in Sarjani Town, Sector 7, as a result of a dispute between members of two political factions. Whereas a man identified as Saeed Iqbal got injured in the incident. Both the deceased as well as the injured were shifted to hospital. Heavy contingent of police and rangers deployed in the area to control the law and order situation.
On the other hand, some armed motorcyclists tried to snatch a motorcycle from Faisal Masood near Liaqat Abad furniture market. Meanwhile, police reached the spot. Police and dacoits exchanged the firing as a result of which, Imran Siddiqui, got injured. However, he could not survive and succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital. Police said that Imran was companion of culprits and sustained a bullet injury in the crossfire. However, the local residents told that Imran was not a criminal and died from the firing of police. After the incident, the residents of the area pelted stones on the traffic and blocked the road. However, police intervened and resumed the traffic flow.
A girls dead body was also recovered from a house in Sachal Bilawal Goth. According to hospital sources, the girl was shot dead by a gun fire. Whereas, a man was killed in Gudaap Town by unidentified gunmen.

Four more Kashmiri protesters succumb to injuries

SRINAGAR: Four more Kashmiri youth, who were injured in the firing of Indian police and troops during the recent demonstrations at different places, succumbed to injuries in various hospitals, taking the death toll since June 11 to 114.

The martyrs included Bilal Ahmed Najar of Islamabad, Shabir Ahmed Dar of Chakoora, Pulwama, Muhammad Amin Ganai of Tappar, Pattan and Ali Mohammad Waza of Palhalan, Pattan.

The occupation authorities continue to impose curfew and other restrictions in Srinagar and other major towns for the eighth successive day, today.

Besides, Indian troops thrashed staff members of local dailies at Kaka Sarai in Srinagar, injuring one of them critically. The injured was admitted in Bones and Joint Hospital at Barzulla. SAMAA
