No info about Bin-Laden presence in Pakistan
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that there is no information that Osama Bin Laden or other leaders of Al-Qaeeda are in Pakistan.
Qureshi said this in an exclusive interview with BBC’s Zeinab Badawi during recent Commonwealth meeting in Trinidad.
Responding to a question about presence of Osama Bin Laden and Ayman Al-Zawahiri in Pakistan, the foreign minister said, “if we knew we would get them and if Americans have information they should share with us,” he said and added that Americans don’t have the information.
When asked that why Obama is saying that AL-Qaeeda leadership is in Pakistan, Qureshi saod that it’s a guessing game going on and everybody is making guesses.
The Pakistani foreign minister said that we have apprehended, we have arrested, and we have eliminated terrorists and some high value targets more than any country in the world.
He said that he doesn’t know if Mullah Umar of Afghan Taliban was in Pakistan and reiterated that people guess, people speculate. There is no solid information.
