Trey Songz usually leaves the ladies hot and bothered with his steamy videos, but the “I Invented Sex” singer tugs at his fans’ hearts in a different way with his new clip, “Yo Side of the Bed,” which premiered Wednesday on Essence.com.
The tearjerker co-stars Keri Hilson as his wife and the mother of his infant daughter.
The clip opens with a question about how long the two have been together. “Well, if you count the time it took to get her on a date with me,” Trey replies, “three years and seven or eight months.”
The video then flashes back to when they met: Hilson is jogging by Trey, who is seated on a park bench. Hilson is seen decked out in workout gear and a cap, adorned with the insignia of the United States Army.
The two eventual marry and have a child together. The camera pans across their home showing them in bed together, spotting photos from their courtship on the walls and revealing an image on a nightstand of Hilson with her platoon.
They appear to be living in wedded bliss until Hilson gets a phone call and learns she’ll be redeployed into combat.
“Every time she leaves, it’s my heart that she’s taking from me,” he sings, as he comforts a crying Hilson preparing to leave. “I don’t know if she’s for gone or returning in the morning. And I wait through the night, ’cause I can’t help the tossing and turning. I want you to know that our bed, our sheets, our pillows are getting lonely on your side of the bed.”
The family pack up in a mini van and are soon driving to the base where mostly men are seen kissing their wives goodbye. Hilson is the only wife who is leaving her loved ones.
Their lives are turned upside-down as Trey Songz struggles to raise his daughter alone and Hilson visibly is missing her family while she goes into combat.
Two soldiers then ring Trey’s doorbell, presumably to notify him that his wife has been killed in combat. The music fades for a moment as we hear Trey sobbing and pleading for her, “Oh, baby.
50 cent weight loss

50 Cent has been keeping a low profile lately, but the real reason was because he was losing weight for a movie role, and knew that the change in his looks would be so dramatic that fans may react with horror….Thisis50 posted an US Weekly story on the transformation, in which Fif says he dropped from 214lbs to 160lbs in 9 weeks….by basically starving himself. Now that he’s done with the film, and going back on tour, Fif will probably reunite with his trainer Jay and get back to fighting weight.
Now the movie, Things Fall Apart, called for 50 to play a football player who has cancer, but Hollywood has had other examples of extreme dieting….and it’s interesting because it always becomes the actor’s badge of “dedication to the craft.” See, below, Christian Bale’s scary skin over bone look in The Machinist, and Matt Damon’s turn in Courage Under Fire.

How can you not think this guy is a threat and can make a difference for the Panthers’ team. Edwards lined up at quarterback with Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams. So, that puts paid to the buzz about her walking out on Abhinay Deo’s Crooked, in which she teams up again with Abhishek, and also stories of her aim being to complete Vipul Shah’s Action Replayy, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish, Mani’s Raavan and Rajnikant’s The Robot as early as possible.
Said a friend, “Ash does not get time for herself. She is trying to balance various projects, some of which have overshot the deadline, while playing her domestic roles properly. It’s a very tough balancing act, she needs a break.”
Understandably, the actress is now dropping out of projects that haven’t started. The buzz is she might not play Mumtaz Mahal to Ben Kingsley’s in Taj Mahal, a project that she had said yes to while shooting The Last Legion with Sir Ben.

Tom Brady Sisters, Tom Brady may be the cat’s meow now, but who would have thought that as a young man his sisters were better than him?
Superstar football player and hunk Tom Brady does in fact have three three older sisters, all of whom were better at sports than he was at a young age. Surprising?
But his sisters are rumored to be the reason behind Tom’s extreme competitiveness, as all of his sisters were phenomenal baseball players.
Maureen Brady excelled as a senior pitcher, while sisters Julie and Nancy were amazing shortstop and catcher respectively.
Brady’s oldest sister Maureen remembers, “Us girls, we were all pretty good in sports, always in the newspaper. Tommy always used to be known as ‘Maureen Brady’s little brother’ or ‘The Little Brady.’ So he writes a paper, saying one day he wants us to be known as Tom Brady’s sisters. He wrote, ‘One day, I’m going to be a household name.’ That’s what he told my mom, ‘One day I’m going to be a household name.’ ”
A longtime friend of Brady’s says, “He was very clearly the low man on the totem pole. Whereas Tom didn’t really fill out until college, all of those girls were very pretty and were great athletes. I think there was a self-consciousness, a feeling that, ‘If I’m going to get my name in the paper like them, I have to step it up.’ ”
While Tom Brady lived in the shadows of his sisters, now he has definitely proved himself to be a shining star, a star quarterback and now a sex symbol worldwide.
