N.Waziristan: Troop killed in Afghan mortar shells attack

A security personnel got killed while three others injured when fired from Afghanistan hit a military checkpost in North Waziristan, trendpk.com reported on Wednesday.
Sources said that as many as ten mortar shells fired from the Afghan side hit Bange-i-Dar checkpost in Ghulam Khan town in North Waziristan tribal district.As a result, four security men got injured of whom one succumbed to his injuries later. The wounded have been shifted to CMH located at Bannu.
The attack was ensued by an exchange of fire between Pakistan and Afghan forces, which is still continued.

LANDI KOTAL: In a remote-controlled bomb attack at a security forces convoy in Khyber tribal region killed six persons including two security men and two children.
A convoy of the security forces was attacked with remote-controlled device in tehsil Bara of Khyber region.
The forces initiated search operation in the area after the attack arrested 10 suspects and demolished a house. The region has been already under curfew.
According to ARY News four security men were also injured in the attack on the forces convoy.
Moreover, the militants blew up a bridge in Bajaur region.

Suicide Blast In S Wazirastan 7 Killed
MIRANSHAH: At least seven persons lost their lives including four security personnel and four others sustained injuries amid a suicide attack on a security forces check post located in Miranshah, area of South Waziristan Agency (SWA), Geo news reported.
According to sources, a suicide attacker hit his explosives-laden vehicle to Asha check post near Mir Ali Road here in Miranshah. Consequently, four security officers, present on check post, were killed, four injured and three civilians, found close to blast scene, lost their lives.
The Mir Ali Road had been closed for traffic following occurrence of suicide blast, sources said.
