Afzal Guru’s file sending by Sheila Dikshit to Lt Governor
The Delhi government Tuesday cleared the file on the Parliament attack prisoner Afzal Guru’s mercy petition, and sent the deputy governor. A day after she refuted a newspaper article says Delhi government has received a reminder from the home ministry for his comments on Afzal Guru petition Mercy, said Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday that she had sent the file to the Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna.
Afzal Guru, a resident of Sopore Kashmir Valley, was found guilty of planning 13 December 2001 Parliament attack and was sentenced to death by a trial court in December 2002. The Delhi High Court confirmed the death in October 2003.
The Supreme Court in August 2005 upheld the death sentence given to the Guru for his role in terrorist attacks. Guru’s wife Tabassum, filed a mercy petition to the chair on top court ruling.

And one source familiar with the situation tells RadarOnline.com that the couple will share joint custody of the children if the divorce goes through

Now come reports that the No. 1 golfer and his estranged wife will divorce and share joint custody of the kids.
It’s one of the few bright spots in Tiger’s relationship with Elin. They still do not live together, with Elin staying in a rented house about a mile from the home they once shared near Orlando, Florida.
At one point the relationship warmed, but Tiger’s return to golf upset Elin, the source said. She felt he returned too soon and wasn’t committed to building a new relationship with her.
