Akshay Kumar to be brand ambassador for Canada Tourism
We have all heard of celebrities endorsing products, while a few have also been known to endorse a certain state or country. Well adding to this list is none other than Akshay Kumar.
Akshay will soon be formally announced as the brand ambassador of Canada by the Canada Tourism Commission in Delhi. The announcement is scheduled to happen next Friday.
What’s more the high commissioner of Canada in India, Stewart Beck, will preside over the function that is scheduled to be held in the Capital, while the actor is currently busy shooting his next film Joker, in Chandigarh.

LAHORE: Acting Governor Punjab Rana Muhammad Iqbal has inaugurated the new golf course in Lahore.
Six acres with nine holes golf course has been located at Multan Road. There are also big lakes in 3200 yards course enhancing the beauty.
Addressing the function, acting Governor Rana Iqbal said that new golf course multiplies the beauty of Lahore.

Junior NTR And Jr NTR Engagement Got Engaged Lakshmi Pranathi
Junior NTR will soon have a wedlock with Narne Lakshmi Pranathi, daughter of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s niece Narne Mallika. This news was first previewed today on Studio N owned by father of Lakshmi Pranathi.
Pranathi is only 18 years old, studying in Intermediate in Nazar Junior College of Hyderabad. While Junior NTR is a well placed actor in Telugu Cinema and already have many big hits with his name. Pranathi is daughter of Narne Srinivas Chandrababu niece Mallika.
Telugu film actor Junior NTR will get married to Narne Lakshmi Pranathi. Pranathi is daughter of Narne Srinivas Studio N Channel owner & Narne Mallika TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s niece . Junior NTR, is the son of Nandamuri Hari Krishna and grandson of former chief minister N.T. Rama Rao, who was popularly known as NTR.
Junior on Thursday at the Narne Srinivasa Rao residence. Chandrababu Naidu, Balakrishna and Purandeswari and Rajeev Kanakala and Kodali Nani attended the function. Notable among the absentees was NTR’s widow, Lakskmi Parvathi. No permission to media to access the function. Till late evening, no information was forthcoming from members of either families about the date of the marriage. Chandrababu Naidu’s brother, Ramamurthy Naidu, told reporters that it was likely to be held on May 9 this year.

Soundarya and Ashwin Ramkumar Now Engaged, Daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, Soundarya and Ashwin Ramkumar got engaged, in a grand ceremony which took place at Park Sheraton in Chennai.
The function was attended by high profile VVIPs, including Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, along with his wives Dayalu Ammal and Rajathi Ammal, Kanimozhi, daughter-in-law Durga Stalin, and grandson Udayanidhi Stalin.
Very few members of the Kollywood fraternity, those who are exceptionally close to Rajnikanth, were present at the function, including his mentor K Balachandar, in addition to early producers like Panchu Arunachalam and Kalaipuli S Thanu.

Two New Supreme Court Judges To Sworn In

ISLAMABAD: The newly appointed judges of the Supreme Court (SC) took oath on Monday in a ceremony held at the Supreme Court here. The number of SC judges now reached to 17.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry has administered the oath to the judges Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, judge high court of Sindh and Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffery, former judges high court of Sindh. Senior judges and lawyers attended the function.
The oath text included the wordings that judges will follow code of conduct of Supreme Judicial Council (SJC). The code of conduct of SJC has been changed recently which now included that interim constitutional order will not be abide.
