What Channel is The Vikings Game on Tonight

What Channel is The Vikings Game on Tonight, It’s sad that the Viking’s Metrodome roof collapsed, but the real crime is that the Vikings Giants game is not on TV tonight for most people. The reason as reported by the Baltimore Sun is that Fox and ESPN could not reach an agreement about who would air it. ESPN has the exclusive rights to Monday Night Football, and since the Sunday game is now on Monday, they needed to agree to let Fox broadcast it as they were originally scheduled to do on Sunday. Evidently that did not happen as the game is nowhere to be found on TV tonight. If you are watch the Ravens-Texans game on ESPN, they are giving frequent updates as to the status of the game, but there’s nowhere to watch.
You can listen on ESPN radio, and I’m told that the NFL Network will air the game at midnight tonight, although I don’t get that channel because I’m so lucky as to have Time Warner Cable. However, it will be on NFL.com starting at midnight or as soon as the Ravens-Texans game is over, and be available for 24 hours. That is decent of them!

Thursday Night Football,Thursday Night Football Channel:For those of you who just can’t get enough mediocre football, tonight NFL Network begins its two-month stretch of Thursday night programming with the 4-4 Bears traveling to face the 3-5 49ers. It’s a scintillating matchup that we’ll be watching closely between sips of cognac and snippets of The Vampire Diaries. Here’s a few things about Bears/Niners to watch for:
1. Watch for Losing Football: The Bears have lost three of four, and in two of those losses they failed to hold their opponent under 30 points in the first half. Cedric Benson, Beanie Wells, hell, Connie Britton could run on this defense right now. The 49ers, meanwhile, actually come into this game with a longer losing streak, as they’ve dropped four straight. They turned the ball over four times last week in a home loss to the Titans, who converted the 49ers’ mishaps into 24 points.
alex-smith-san-francisco-49ers-girlfriend2. Watch for Nuclear QB’s: Alex Smith was drafted first overall. Jay Cutler was drafted 11th. Both have endured their share of criticism during their short time in the league, Smith for being a horrible player and Cutler for throwing mind-boggling interceptions and never making the playoffs/finishing with a winning record. After a brief flirtation with servicable QB play, Smith threw three INT’s last week against the Titans. Cutler’s Bears are 4-4 and he’s on pace to throw 24 picks this year. The more things change…
3. Watch for Vernon Davis: Davis is tied for the league lead in TD receptions with seven, is a devastating run blocker, and his string of circus catches against the Texans last month was appointment viewing. But prior to this game, he decided to “poke the Bear” by boasting of how the 49ers were going to destroy Chicago’s defensive front. Everyone else has, right? But did he venture too far into Rex Ryan territory for head coach Mike Singletary’s liking? Keep an eye on the sidelines for any potential blowups.
4. Watch for Tommie Hearns, er, Tommie Harris: The former All-Pro, pocket-collapsing dynamo played one series against Arizona last week before being ejected for launching a quick right hook to the head of a Cardinals’ offensive linemen. Harris has been plagued by lower-body injuries over the past three seasons that have sapped his effectiveness and limited his game appearances. He’ll be under a microscope tonight.continue

Blast At Spy Agency In NW Pakistan 7 kill:A suicide car bomb devastated Pakistan’s main spy agency building in the northwest Friday, killing at least 7 people and striking at the heart of the institution overseeing much of the country’s anti-terror campaign.
The blast in Peshawar was the latest in a string of bloody attacks on security forces, civilian and Western targets since the government launched an offensive in mid-October against militants in the border region of South Waziristan, where al-Qaida and Taliban leaders are believed to be hiding out.
The early-morning blast, heard across the city, destroyed much of the three-story building belonging to the Inter-Services Intelligence agency and many cars on the street outside. An Associated Press reporter on the scene within minutes saw several dead or badly wounded bodies being taken away.
Seven bodies and 35 wounded people were admitted to the nearby Lady Reading Hospital, police officer Ullah Khan said.
Peshawar Police chief Liaqat Ali Khan said a car bomber attacked the main gate of the complex.
The government has vowed that the surging militant attacks will not dent the country’s resolve to pursue the offensive in South Waziristan, where officials say the most deadly insurgent network in Pakistan is based.
The ISI agency has been involved in scores of covert operations in the northwest against al-Qaida targets since 2001, when many militant leaders crossed into the area following the U.S. led invasion of Afghanistan. The region is seen as a likely hiding place for Osama bin Laden.
Taliban militants are waging a war against the Pakistani government because they deem it un-Islamic and are angry about its alliance with the United States. The insurgency began in earnest in 2007, and attacks have grown more frequent since the offensive in South Waziristan.
