Mahesh Manjrekar introduces another facet of his talented personality tests by turning songwriter for his latest film venture, the City of Gold. The film, which will release in Hindi and Marathi at the same time, based on the life of mill workers and singing highlights the situation ofmiddle class Mumbaikar’s.
Before that Mahesh had also hum a few lines in his acting debut Kaante. He had even sung a whole song for his film Pyaar Kiya Nahin Jaata that never came to light. “We call out-of-tune singers as” Aurangazeb singers “Manjrekar laughs.” I will not say I’m as bad as a “Aurangazeb singer“, but I am absolutely no songs. I sang, because I believe if you do something for sure, and from your heart, it turns out good. ”
The film releases today in Marathi and Hindi. Although the name of Marathi films Lalbaug Parel on Hindi version called City of Gold. It is one of the three films that Mahesh has signed with DAR Motion Pictures.

Shilpa Shetty Ready for her sangeet

MUMBAI: Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty is ready for her sangeet, a day before her grand wedding with London businessman Raj Kundra on Sunday.
Shilpa’s sangeet ceremony, which will be attended by family members and her close friends from the film fraternity, is being held in Khandala.
Reports are that Shilpa will be dancing to the tunes of her own hit numbers with Raj and choreographer Ganesh Hegde will see to it that everybody’s dance moves are perfect.
The couple’s family members and close friends will also be performing. Raj’s family has already flown from London for the ceremony.
The sangeet is likely to b a mix of both south and Punjabi style dance and music. Apart from Shilpa’s own songs, there will be some high-tempo numbers too.
