Mel Gibson: Discrimination Witness?

The sheriff who arrested Mel Gibson for his suspicion that Mel Gibson was driving under the influence now wants his help when it comes to his discrimination trial. The sheriff is claiming that after he arrested Gibson he was discriminated against. Another possible witness for James Mee – the sheriff – is said to be another Los Angeles County Sheriff by the name of Lee Baca.
So why was James Mee discriminated against?
James Mee feels that he was discriminated against back in 2006 because he was Jewish. Supposedly he was discriminated against by his superiors because they forced him to remove references to an anti- Semitic tirade by Gibson from a report and then later down the line that even ostracized him.
James Mee has had a hard time getting an attorney to even look at his case according to our sources. As you may have noticed this event took place years ago and they are just now getting it brought to trial. Many attorneys turned down the case stating that James Mee did not endure discrimination yet obviously he has found someone who believes him and is willing to help him fight for his rights now.

Mel Gibson’s ex-lover says she feared for her life

NEW YORK: Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has claimed that the Hollywood actor and director was abusive toward her and she feared for her life.
“I thought he would kill me,” the Russian born model and singer told People magazine about one argument during which she said Gibson hit her while she was holding their baby daughter.
They are engaged in a bitter custody battle over their child.
Gibson declined to be interviewed for the story, the magazine said, but has disputed her account.
Grigorieva, 40, admits she made audiotapes of phone calls from Gibson in which he appears to threaten his former lover but she denies leaking them to the media.
She said Gibson often flew into jealous rages, talked about suicide and once brandished a gun in front of her. But now she said, “I’m not angry at him.”

new iphone

You don’t need me to tell you that Apple will announce the new iPhone tomorrow – that’s a given. But what we never truly know is when the new iPhone will be available.
Historically, Apple has waited a few weeks. I’ve been thinking June 25 or 26.
Now I’m wondering if it might be sooner – a lot sooner.
That photo is a text that I received by dialing *NEW# (*639#) which lets you know if you are eligible for an upgrade. I checked last week like I always do around this time of year and it said I’d be eligible on June 20.
Now I’m eligible now. So that has me wondering if Steve Jobs will change things up after the announcement tomorrow and say the following exciting words: “The new iPhone is available now.”
In years past, we’ve gotten wind of the new iPhone and then AT&T drags its heels in announcing if and when current customers would get an upgrade. In fact,
I was already drafting my email to AT&T to ask if and when we’d have the answer to that question. But now I don’t have to worry about it – I already have my answer.
Oh and by the way, AT&T – love the $18 upgrade fee. NOT. Do you really need to nickel and dime me now too? I’m already going to buy a new phone and sign a new contract. That said, you’d better honor the unlimited plan that you promised me I could keep.
So the summary here is mostly good all around … whether the new iPhone is available tomorrow or next week or June 25, it looks like AT&T is already ahead of the game as far as upgrades are concerned. That means you will just need to decide if this is the iPhone you want to upgrade to.
That said, I can tell you that I will be upgrading. I’ve had every model and I’ll have this one. Plus, iWife is looking forward to me passing on my current 3GS to her.The EVO was set up to automatically check Twitter and e-mail on Google’s Gmail service, but even with these options turned on, it was shocking that a fully-charged smart phone left with its screen off for about eight hours was already in the yellow-battery danger zone.
Other nasty surprises include a $10 fee on top of the regular smart-phone data plan for 4G service, a fee that applies no matter where you live, even if your town has no 4G wireless service.
(In Austin, I found the 4G service to be fast and reliable downtown, but a bit spotty when I trekked south of Austin and away from Interstate 35.)
tom cruise mtv movie awards

Tom Cruise rocked a bald head and a paunch, Sandra Bullock asked people to go back to making fun of her, and the Twilight franchise was predictably over-exposed at Sunday’s lively (and expletive-laden) MTV Movie Awards.
Though the two-hour ceremony seemed like one big promotion for the return of Jersey Shore on July 29 (the cast of the MTV reality show appeared frequently in and around the Gibson Amphitheatre near Universal Studios in California, where the event was held), the show was still chock full of highlights that didn’t involve Snooki or The Situation.
90″ height=”340″ /> Cruise gamely reprised his role as Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder in some side-splitting skits as the award show’s “producer” (“Sit back, relax, and enjoy my giant, two-hour s–t”). Ken Jeong (The Hangover) tearfully talked about his cancer-free wife while accepting the prize for the Best WTF Moment. Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) dropped one too many F-bombs – some of which couldn’t be bleeped in time by the censors – when nabbing the Best Movie prize for New Moon. And making their (world!) premieres: the trailers for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Les Grossman was not done for the night,he had more surprises hidden under his hairy chest.
Grossman brought out Jennifer Lopez at the event and the duo worked it out very well to J.Lo’s 2005 song “Get Right”.
Katie Holmes and all of us watching were seriously impressed by the high energy, booty slapping performance.
Tom Cruise proved that he was a funny man but he also proved to be an even greater dancer at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, held at Universal Studios’ Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday (June 6) in Universal City, California.
Cruise opened the show in full costume dressed as “mega mogul” Les Grossman who is known for his dirty mouth. It was good to see a Tom Cruise who did not take himself too seriously. He did not even come off as a crazy Scientologist, probably because he did not do a lot of talking. Good job to Tom Cruise for showing us he still has a sense of humor, and he can thank Beyonce for lending credibility to Tom Cruise’s Les Grossman imitation.

President’s Quiet Birthday Leaves Egyptians Anxious CAIRO — President Hosni Mubarak, still recuperating from gall bladder surgery, celebrated his 82nd birthday on Tuesday at his secluded estate in the Red Sea resort town of Sharm el Sheik. The president’s continued convalescence far from the capital underscored the frailty not just of the man but of a nation with no clear political plan for who will govern should he die or step down, political scientists here said.
The president has been back to work, meeting with foreign leaders and even giving a national address on Sinai Liberation Day. But he did not give his annual Labor Day speech last week,
and has not yet returned to Cairo, where protests rage daily about low wages. He continues to look relatively frail and his health remains the focus of intense speculation.
“The issue is not about his health today,” said Wahid Abdel Meguid, deputy director of the state-financed Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies. “It is about the ambiguity of the future with regards to the transfer of power, be it in the near or far future. There is increasing anxiety, which used to be prevalent among limited circles of intellectuals and elites, but now it has spread throughout society.”
To address that concern, the state-owned newspaper Al Ahram ran a front page paean to Mr. Mubarak on Tuesday that not only flattered, but also offered an indication of what the public should expect. The headline beneath a picture of Mr. Mubarak said, “The Maker of the Future.”
“We shall not forget to say to him ‘happy birthday’ on this grand day that is dear to our souls,” wrote the newspaper’s chief editor, Osama Saraya. “We say it to him and our hearts flutter with happiness for his recovery after a therapeutic trip after which he returned to arduous work inside and outside to protect Egypt’s ability and place and pivotal role in the interest of all Arab brothers to prevent wars and resume peace for the sake of building nations.”
In March, President Mubarak temporarily turned over his authority to the prime minister, Ahmed Nazif, before undergoing an operation at Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany. Surgeons removed the president’s gall bladder and a growth from his small intestine, which was declared benign.
Since he returned to Egypt, the president’s allies have pressed the case that he is recovering, while there have been widespread rumors that he is more seriously ill than the state has reported. Even government officials have expressed anxiety, in private, about his ability to continue to serve.
Mr. Mubarak has led the nation for nearly 30 years. His health is so closely linked to the stability of the country and the economy that in 2007 the government charged a newspaper editor, Ibrahim Eissa, with causing the loss of $350 million in foreign investment by reporting that the president was seriously ill. Mr. Eissa was convicted and sentenced to prison but later pardoned by the president.
The local news media have not reported on questions of the president’s health in recent weeks, a fact attributed to the Eissa case and to a law that makes insulting the president a crime, said Gamal Eid, executive director of The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information.

My heart breaks when I get emails from proud cat owners about their cats’ new litters of kittens, knowing that for every kitten they’ll give away “free to a good home,” a shelter cat may lose its life. (And knowing that those “free kittens” may not fare so well.)
I get very angry when I hear the phrase, “My cat got herself pregnant,” because the blame rightfully belongs to the ignorant person who failed to spay the cat, then allowed her to roam free. And I’m sickened by
the knowledge that one day this person will likely either dump the cat and her kittens at an animal shelter, or abandon them on the street, or if they’re “lucky,” in a park, where they will have to fend for themselves along with other abandoned and feral cats.
Mothers Day is Sunday, and this year I’ll celebrate it as I have every year since my own Mom passed away: by donating for the spay/neuter of a rescued cat. This year my donation will go to H.A.L.O. (Homeless Animals Lifeline Organization), a rescue group in my area of our Planet. I talked to H.A.L.O.’s President, Verlene Edwards, last Saturday at their weekly adoption event at my favorite pet supplies store. She told me she is personally caring for 19 kittens, which represents a number of spays already done, so I know that even my small donation will be welcome.

Violet Kowal & Mel Gibson Affair? Porn Actress Claims Steamy Office Sex
Did a Polish porn actress named Violet Kowal have an affair with Mel Gibson? That’s what she told the National Enquirer, and they say she took and passed a lie detector test.
Gibson recently split up with Russian Oksana Grigorieva, with whom he had daughter Lucia last October, after separating from his wife Robyn.
Kowal, 26, claims she and Gibson had steamy sex while Grigorieva was pregnant.
“Mel’s breakup with Oksana doesn’t surprise me at all,” Kowal told the Enquirer.
Violet says she had steamy sex with Mel eight times at his compound in Malibu and Santa Monica office in 2009.
“Mel’s great in bed! It was the best sex I’ve ever had!”
Mel’s rep called the story an “absurd fabrication.”
In April Grigorieva characterized her split from Gibson as sudden. The pair was happily posing together in March on red carpets.
Conan o Brien Tour
Conan o Brien Tour, whose exit from “The Tonight Show” and NBC bars him from taking another TV job until September, will launch “The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour” in Eugene, Ore., on April 12. He, sidekick Andy Richter and his “Tonight Show” band led by Max Weinberg will hit 30 cities over the course of two months.
O’Brien announced the tour Thursday morning (March 11) on his Twitter feed: “Hey Internet: I’m headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour.
The tour includes dates at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal Studios in L.A. — an NBC Universal-owned property that’s just a stone’s throw from O’Brien’s “Tonight Show” soundstage — and Radio City Music Hall in New York, just up the street from NBC headquarters. O’Brien and Co. will also hit Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Austin, Chicago, Toronto and Washington, D.C., during the tour, as well as the Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee on June 11.
